Remarkable, fast and easy to use.
Easy to set up, easy to fill, easy to use. I went round twice but the first pass would have been enough. The pull along system isn't too heavy and as long as you feather it, the control is more than enough. Note to others: The mower says it comes without oil, however mine did. Check your dipstick before adding oil.

Mountfield HP 41 review
I owned the previous model Mountfield it lasted 15 years but the body rusted badly however the engine and cutting was still working fine . The new model has a plastic body and is much better and lighter , this model is easy to start and has an automatic choke , it cuts very well they have improved the grass box it compacts the grass better and needs emptying half as much as the previous one . It’s easy to clean my lawn is around 75 x 25 ‘ it’s more than enough for that . I rarely write reviews but I’m so impressed I thought it deserved one ;-)

Good for a lower priced mower
First the pro points. Its as light as a Petrol mower gets. I had no problem putting the handle on, on my own however, I had to squeeze the 2 arms closer together as they were a bit far apart when offered up. Ideal for the smaller garden. Starts easy. On first use after filling with Petrol it started 3rd pull and first time thereafter. The 2 previous pulls needed to prime the carburetor. Good enough and light grass collector. Easy to adjust cut length via the wheels. Sturdy enough for an economy model. Folds away to store in a small space. The speed is fine perhaps it could even be a bit slower for some. Cuts well. I haven't tried it on long grass however. Now the cons. The folding of the handle to facilitate compact storage could be better. Locking levers maybe as you have to unwind the plastic star locking turns quite a lot to fold the handle. You need to be careful not to unscrew the star locking turns too far and lose the back nut. Could do with a handle at the rear to help lift the mower over obstacles and into storage boxes. I would have liked a longer engine pull cord given you have to pull the tart handle back before pulling the engine starter cord. Some people might struggle to do both at the same time. Other models in the range have longer engine pull cords attached to the handle close to the squeeze start bar. You need a funnel with flexible extension to put oil in. Perhaps they could provide one. All in all not real complaints for the money and I would buy again. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a couple of the features I would have liked to have on it.

Fantastic product - cuts grass smooth and low.
Excellent value for money. Bought due to the products ability to mow grass to a very low level due to the easy adjustable handle at the side of the machine. Looks stylish but also easy to use and powerful. Starts immediately. I would highly recommend and as a result two neighbours also purchased this product as they were impressed by its results! Recommending to my local bowling team too.

Perfect to use even if you feel lazy you.
Over the years, I have used my husband’s old lawn mower. He collected 10 of those and not one of them I’m comfortable using. Half an acre to mow for 15 years more or less, it was a struggle. And this bad boy recommended by a neighbour, phew, I am extremely happy that I put my foot down to chose and buy my own lawn mower. It’s enjoyable to mow the lawn now rather than moaning all the time. It’s light to use, cuts long grass like a monster, easy to clean.

Light and easy to use
Great mower for a smaller garden. Bit tricky to put together but if you go online there’s videos that are much better than the instruction book.

Very good lawnmower
This lawnmower is lightweight. I was going to return it when it arrived because I thought it seemed flimsy, but I was wrong, it is a really good mower, it starts very easily, reasonable quiet, and easy to use. It makes a good job of cutting the grass. I would have preferred a larger grass collector but it's not a problem really. It was delivered the next day after ordering, it is easy to build but instruction manual could be better. I would recommend this lawn mower for its ease of use
