404 General Purpose Quick Set Rubber Instant Adhesive, 3500 psi Tensile Strength, 0.333 oz Bottle, Clear

Works great but is outrageously expensive. Not sure it's worth the proud price they are asking? And with around a million CA glues to choose from on the market, I'm not sure I will buy this again.

I use loctite 404 mainly to attach gem material to dop sticks prior to faceting. It is much easier than the traditional melted shellac. Bond is excellent with fewer failures. The stone can be removed by soaking in acetone, which dissolves the bond. It is a big improvement.

Really strong

This stuff is amazing. It holds better than any super glue I have ever used. I had a pair of headphones that literally disintegrated where the headband attached. I had to order replacements so in the meantime I thought I would try my new super glue. I was able to put them back together and they did fine for the two days I had to wait for new ones. Even with the strain from spreading the headband to put them on, the glue held them together. I am sold on this product.

This glue is awesome in that it sets very quickly. It is quite watery; please be careful where you use it. I did get some on two of my fingers; it scrapped off with warm water and a bit of rubbing (fingers were not joined together--that would be a horror story).

I use this glue for dopping gemstones onto brass dops. It grabs quickly but not too quickly, so I can adjust the position of the stone for a few moments before it begins to set. No stone has fallen off the dop, and I've run into no other problems. It easily releases with enough heat.

Purchased 2 bottles at high price. they arrived with one bottle has same label on both sides. Other bottle weight 25% less (Compared 2 bottles arrived on same shipment). FYI, I used electronic scale designed for 50 mili grams maximum).

Expensive but worth it. I use it on the tips of my fingernails. They break down to the quick and no dermatologist has helped me. I am not a doctor so check with yours before trying this.

This is the best rubber glue I have ever used. I used it to glue broken paddles on a skidoo turbo 850 mountain track. Throughly clean the rubber with acetone prior and dry with compressed air then apply the 404 glue and let dry for 24 hrs it will amaze you. Great product just need it in a larger bottle.
