Good Product
The TeraFlex factory replacement is a great improvement over the factory original. Greater range and flexibility. Seems a bit overpriced though. It's this or go to a standard u-joint which is a good option. Great instructions and comes with grease and tool that helps you install it easier.

Problem solved
This solved my front driveshaft vibration, and metal scraping metal noises coming from my front end. Pretty straight forward to install. Still going strong after 5000 miles.

Easy Installation and Wide Opening
When on the trails I heard a loud cracking and popping from under the Jeep, I could feel in in my shifter as I climbed my first trail. I knew something was wrong and sure enough when I climbed under my rig, I found that the boot for my front CV joint was completely gone. The original joint shown above was not designed for my 3.5" lifted Jeep and had finally failed. The new TeraFlex joint that I received was easy to install, had all of the parts and a comprehensive set of instructions. I had a much harder time getting the old one to come off than I did putting the new joint in. Once installed, I took my Jeep back out on the trails with no more cracking! Loved the install and love the product. Thanks TeraFlex!

Easy install if you do these things....
1. Heat the differential side bolts with a torch to break up the factory thread locker. They come right out after that.2. Slide the new bearing onto the driveshaft and use leverage to move it around when packing the bearings. You will need to slide it on and off a couple of times as you pack the grease.3. Use a grinder to slightly file one side of the supplied bolts. This allows the bolts to hang straight down and slide right into place without needing two people. You only torque these to 15ft lbs so there's no worries about breaking the bolts. This step will make more sense when you attempt to mate the two pieces together. The Teraflex video makes everything seem so perfectly simple but I had to complete the above steps in order to install my kit. Happy wheelin'!

Very good kit but instructional flaws and should include other tool and extra CV clamp
This kit addresses a flaw that Fiat/Chrysler should have addressed in the first place, especially on the front driveshaft to transfer case. There is very little clearance for the clamp for the boot for not rubbing and destroying the boot prematurely when traveling on uneven surfaces/roads. The Terra Flex replacement is great but is not a easy solution nor will it make taking the front drive shaft out for any type of other repairs easy. I replaced the joint on my 2015 2 door and it is straight forward for a mild mechanic. I would include a shorter 6mm ball hex in the kit to get the proper torque spec and specify engaging the rear cover atleast 95% on evenly for the unit to draw into the transfer case shaft properly. I would also include a second shorter boot clamp as beginners will screw the first up and the clamp is way to long and should not be doubled or tripled wrapped since clearance caused the failure in most case to begin with. I had this kit together and in in under 3 hours and using a deadblow hammer with a wood block to engage the rear cover to transfer case end almost fully should be in the instructions. The transfer case flange should be cleaned or lightly sanded or the 15ft torque lb spec will be inaccurate.I supported the driveshaft parallel to the transfer case for install with a adjustable jack stand to get it to go in straight. I would also measure the transfer case to Rzeppa joint bolt stick out since if the unit did not draw straight in which will cause the end 15ft lb torque to be in adequate to seat the upper part into the transfer case.Do Not use a power ratchet or Impact gun to Draw in the joint to transfer case flange!!! The bolts need to be drawn in slowly or flange with CV boot damage may occur. The longest part of the install was this and removing it may necessitate a new joint unit for the front driveshaft unless you clean it up good for rust etc. Overall this is a Great kit for the 3 Rzeppa joints found in the Jeep JK system, but better instructions are needed or premature fail or even catastrophic at highway speeds may happen.
