Marie Sharp's Beware Comatose Habanero Pepper Sauce, 5 oz

I bought this a few weeks ago and I've nearly cleared a 5 oz. bottle of it already. I took it camping with some friends and it was popular, I was asked for a link. This is probably going to be one of my regulars so long as they keep the salt content low (more on that below).It has that delicious, smoky habanero flavor with plenty of juicy tomato and vegetable notes. It is definitely hot but it's not as insane as the label would have you think, and since it's really delicious, I can use more of it at a time without turning into a runny mess and nuking my digestive system. I use it on lots of foods including eggs, pizza, beef stir fry or seafood. It's versatile.Best of all, it doesn't cost a fortune like those featured on a certain video series with celebrities eating hot wings.Regarding salt content - I think they got the message as my bottle says 4%/90 mg per 1 tsp serving (see picture). I can see other listings of this product where they show the label, and they differ - some say 8%/180 mg, and others say 17%/410 mg (!!). I'm going to order more but if it doesn't stay at 90mg from here on out I'll have to quit buying it, that is not a healthy amount of salt and it doesn't need it in my opinion.

This is not for the weak - it is hot but so flavorful, you'll find yourself cooling you mouth off, just to enjoy more. I love it, tastes just like a fresh habanero.

Marie Sharps has some of the best flavored hot sauces available. This is the hotter version of their Fiery (and Belizean) hot sauce. I love it and it is my "go to" for pizza. I started with their "Fiery Sauce" which is every bit as delicious, just not as hot.. and, well I like the heat! If you aren't sure about the heat, try their fiery sauce first, if you like it milder try their Habanero Sauce.. they are all delicious and "fresh" tasting. I buy this one by the half case along with their new "hornet" sauce.. but that's another story. A great value.

As one who has tried many hot sauces, I can say that no other sauce comes closer to perfection for both my taste buds and my capsaicin-receptors. You are missing out if you like hot sauces and have never tried this!

My husband received a small bottle as a gift and although it was hot, it was very enjoyable. He liked it so much we just ordered 3 more bottles (two for himself and one to give as a gift.

My overall favorite bottle of hot sauce. The regular habanero bottle is a close second.

Spicy but not a barn burner. Flavorful but it is a thicker sauce, with some good habanero mash in it. My issue is the salt content in this sucker. 410 mg in ONE TEASPOON. That's insane, considering that's the equivalent to a 4 piece chicken nugget at mcdonalds.Personally I wouldn't purchase again simply because the salt is so high, you can find flavor and spice without all the salt, but if you can handle a high salt intake (I can't due to blood pressure) then this is a tasty sauce.

Ich verwende die Soße schon lange und bin sehr zufrieden. Sie muß aber tropfenweise dosiert werden, da sehr scharf.

ハバネロは料理に何でも合うかな。特にスープ系とピザには最高に合います。程よく辛いし美味い^ - ^
