Kindle version seems to be working...
This volume is another great addition to this story. We learn more about Hiyori's family, and get to finally meet her brother, as well as grandmother. We also see Tsuguha (Bishamon's shinki) going through a very rough time due to something that happened during the hospital incident. Things are continuing to build here, and I can't wait to get the next couple of volumes. On a side note, while I buy the print version, I also bought the kindle version today, May 27th, after seeing the reviews of it being messed up, and it seems to have been fixed. At least for me it downloaded the whole volume, so I'm hoping that means it's been fixed for everyone.

Good
I quite like the cover of this one. We finally meet Hiyori’a older brother and see the aftermath of the last volume. 4 stars.

Very good
~4-4.5/5(May contain spoilers.)Bishamon is trying to portray that everything is fine, but she’s floundering as one of her shinki is getting dangerously close to figuring out her real name. The God’s secret is starting to come to the surface, and it’s terrible. This also provokes Kazuma into using his friendship with Yukine to his advantage and find some information out. This, understandably, doesn’t go well with Yukine when he figures it out. There’s a reprieve in the middle here where we meet Hiyori’s brother and grandmother, who have a surprising similarity with each other. Apparently her gift runs in the family. This is both fun, and a sweet moment between the family.I just eat up every volume of this series, and I am loving it. Can’t wait for the next one, especially after that cliffhanger.[More of my reviews are available on my blog, Geeky Reading, to which there's a link on my profile.]

It's almost like if American Gods was set exclusively in Japan and was more "anime"
You know that mystery character from American Gods that nobody can remember? Well what if you based a story around him and set it in Japan. How does a god that requires belief to survive, do so when nobody can retain their memories of him?I marathon bought and read all the books in this series to date after watching the anime. This is not something that I normally do so this series occupies a special place in that regard. It does that thing that I like of mixing the mundane nature of the normal world with the other-worldliness of the other. Readers of Neil Gaiman's work or fans of the Bakamonogatari series will know that vibe. I say give it a shot. Despite already knowing most of the story from the anime I do not regret buying and reading the story in the "original" format.
