I have bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is into this sort of thing - even at the age of 10. So, while I can't tell yet whether or not this is what she had in mind, I think it will be very well received. It arrived very quickly and looks just like the photo, with a vacuum plastic wrap around it. The pink and green colors are lovely.

If you truly love her, go for something else. Everything is perfectly mediocore in this little basket. You need a "WoW", and this is how you'll get an "ahhh how sweet". However, if I'm wrong and you need the latter, you can get the same reaction from something ten bucks less. Either way, I'd pass on this.
