School Zone - Reading Readiness Workbook - 64 Pages, Ages 5 to 7, Kindergarten to 1st Grade, Story Order, Letter Sounds, Matching, and More (School ... Workbook Series) (Deluxe Edition 64-Page) : School Zone, Joan Hoffman, Robin Boyer: desertcart.ae: Office Products Review: I really like that the activities are colorful and pictures accompany the words. My daughter is 6 and didn't find much challenging except for reading time, but it's a great workbook to keep reading skills sharp. My daughter's favorite pages were shape identification, counting and the coloring. The letter sound pages came with photo prompts and choices. That was helpful so if a word was tricky she had a limited amount of possible answers to sort through. We have a few of these reading readiness books and the activities are similar. But it's a quick book to work through and a good one for a kid to mostly do on their own as the directions have an image example. Review: We highly recommend this book. We used this book for our boys. It was great for skill building.

About every two page has a different skill! My daughter loves it and doesn't get bored! Highly recommend. It starts out with simple steps of following directions before moving into letter sounds.

My child is homeschooled so sometimes we step back to review and to give them something on the easier side to do that builds just a little self confidence because they get excited when they KNOW it! So yes I like this book and we are enjoying it.
