I have owned my home for 20 years and don't know how I lived without this handy weeder for that entire time.I have used my bare hands to weed my beds and yard since I can remember. Because of the lack of success with that method, most weeding didn't get done throughout the year.Well let me tell you, this handy little contraption has changed my gardening life. It's easy to use, especially on the kinds of weeds I battle most in my yard, the ones with the long tap roots that usually break when you pull on them. Now the soil here in FL is sandy and pretty loose, so I havent had any issue getting this tool 4-6 inches into the soil to loosen the roots and just pool them out. If you have harder soil it may be a bit more work for you.I have literally pulled more weeds in the last 2 evenings than in the last 2, heck, the last 20 years.If you hate loading up your garden or yard with chemicals and want a handy, effective, simple tool to weed with, I would get this. I opted for the larger of the two options from Fiskars and it was still under $10.

First off, this thing is STRONG! Great grip. I also noticed it was easy to clean. Almost impossible to break. And it REALLY WORKS. For years, I thought these things were a gimmick, but it works digging up weeds surprisingly well.I use it to get wild onions and nutsedge (Yes... NUTSEDGE).Very little damage to the surrounding soil when used. The bent part of the shaft is designed to be used as a fulcrum to add extra leverage, lifting the entire weed (or plant) out of the dirt.Get a few as presents for friends you know into gardening and/or yard work.

This is the perfect tool for getting out even deep rooted weeds in your lawn with minimal damage. With proper care this tool may last a lifetime.

I don't do much weeding but recently saw a need for a tool like this in order to perform "surgical" level weed control. Some of the weeds I wanted to remove were difficult to access by hand but the prongs of this tool get right at the base and allowed me to remove the weeds without disrupting too much grass.Another reviewing complained the product broke on the first use. That's difficult for me to imagine as the aluminum is quite thick and seems very stiff. I think this product will work well for years to come.

I had a similar tool, but the handle broke. I'm hoping that my most wonderful, excellent, life and beyond partner can take the remaining still very good stainless steel tool part and somehow salvage it. As it is, I hope that won't be the case here, and that I will love this as much as my Nisako hori hori gardening knife. I generally like Fiskars products, and wanted to give this style of weeding tool another try. Please don't fail me Fiskars!

Excellent quality, strong and durable. Saves a lot of effort with difficult weeds. I am very satisfied with this purchase. I boyught this to replace my straight digger when the handle broke. This is so much easier than the old weed digger. Glad I purchased it would buy again should the need arise, but I can't imagine when that would be.

This tool works awesome! It is much bigger and sturdier than I expected. I filled gallon buckets with weeds every day since receiving the tool. Most of the time, the tap root comes out with only a little effort. I recommend using this tool when your grass is really damp because the weeds will come out much easier. I wish I would have ordered two because it is actually kinda satisfying when the weed comes out and my kid likes doing it too!

bought this as a replacement for my original which i thought was thrown out by mistake. it was buried but i found it. so now i have two. works well in soft or damp soil. easy to use to remove weeds if you don't want to mess around with chemicals.

Don’t bother trying to weed your yard without these, seriously! They’ll save you time and energy.They get down deep below the root and push it out with minimal effort. Thanks to these we were able to do a huge patch of our yard to prepare for seeding (as pictured) in 30 minutes when doing it by hand or with another tool would have taken hours and provably not eliminated the roots.Easy to grip, easy to use. Love them! Especially great for weeding dandelions.
