Illustrated Ramayana For Children : Immortal Epic of India (Deluxe Edition) : Shubha Vilas: desertcart.in: Books Review: Content and graphics are really good - Good book with easy language and excellent visual graphics . Review: Ramayan for kids ,in a visually engaging format & form. - The epic told in manner that a child is likely to find attention grabbing, without deviating too much from the crux or loosing its way in translation as often unfortunately happens while describing a very differnt culture's way of life wrt Western culture, in the language of the west esp if the translator isn't very particular on staying true to the native context and takes the easy way out of describing things in Western metrics. Colorful pictures help a lot in conveying the point, my 6 yr old spends at least double the time taking in the scenes than reading the accompanying text. Wish more such works are available for children to appreciate our heritage and also in regional languages.

If you are interested in teaching your child Ramayana, or you have never read the Ramayana before this is the only Ramayana you will ever need. - excellent illustrations in every page. - pace of the events is great. - Shubha Vilas is a master storyteller. - engaging storyline I highly recommend this book. My 4-year old loved reading this at bedtime every night, and is a huge fan of this Ramayana version. I have other books (both adult and children) by the same author. So, I highly recommend all the titles.

My 7 year old kid loves reading this. We got this when she was 6 and I had to read it to her first, but she enjoys it so much that she wants to read it by herself and this becomes a go to book for her when I ask her to choose a book to read. Some of the words (especially names) are difficult for her still but she follows the story well, remembers all the characters and really seems to enjoy this one.
