Good stuff, Safe to Use, Easier application than oil based products.
Have a large wooden play gym. In the past I used a famous oil based water treatment that calls for two days of no rain and 2 days of above 50 degrees. Well I got lazy and now it's mid November here in the Northeast and well below 50 at night.. Called agra-life (the manufacturer) and they say product can be applied at 45 degrees and up (can says 50 BTW). Took a chance on a 55 degree after noon. Dried in an hour or less. Really. Did half the gym with a brush and the house part with a Graco Electric spray gun. Rain two days later and it's beading up like on car wax! The stuff has the consistency and look of skim milk. Very thin and I would have been better off with a garden sprayer than what I used. The Graco is maybe to much horsepower and it made a lot of mist which wasted product. A gallon just managed to do one coat on the set. There is little to indicate the coating is there. A very slight satin finish that actually shows up more in dim light than in broad daylight. Time will tell on the durability. Clean up insanely easy. Just plain water cleaned the brush and spray gun. Like the environmental safety because my two dogs were running around me while I worked. I'll use it again just for the ease and safety. If I get more than a year, it's worth the money. Any longer is gravy. I don't really believe the label of a five year warranty but maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'd be ecstatic with two years.

Love that its nontoxic and lets the wood grain shine through
I have used Lumber Seal for years now both inside and outside my house. Inside before having new carpet installed, I cleaned my bare floors thoroughly everywhere, even under baseboards, and then when dry applied Lumber Seal. No more dirty edges around the baseboards and it's been at least five years since I did this. Leaks are no longer as big a worry, and I have had leaks. It is designed for building contractors to use on inside structures as they are being built. I also use it on my porch, steps and deck. It's best not to put too many coats on deck or porch boards or it will look too shiny. One coat is enough and one coat looks great, complimenting the natural look of your wood grain. It lasts as long as most popular seals and you don't have to worry about being exposed to toxins when you apply it.

Good product, use wire handle w/ care.
On the same day that this sealer arrived I applied it to some wood siding. I'm very happy with the non-toxic sealer itself and its eco-friendly performance. My odd problem derived from the container - while moving it a few feet the wire handle simply came out one of of its plastic brackets, causing me to spill about a third of the sealer liquid.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! SUPER EASY TO USE!
We needed to stain two Adirondack chair with Ottomans. This product is almost mistake proof! Super easy to use! We bought this because it's non-toxic and no VOCs. If I'm going to be sitting on it, I don't want to be sitting (and sweating) on a toxic mess of chemicals. We have dogs and I wanted to make sure that IF they decided to chew on the chairs, it would not poison them. It goes on super easy. It's like painting with soapy water. It dries super quickly (less than an hour) and the 2nd coat went on easy as well. Didn't have to wait for one coat to dry completely before putting on the second. The only issue we had is that you have to keep an eye out for drips through to the other side of the wood. If you keep checking back and painting the drips out, you'll have no problems. Another cool thing is that it is water clean up. Satin finish is gorgeous too. A little goes a long way.

Tacky for a long time
I only used this on one eucalyptus wood chair to see how well it works. The product was tacky for about a week. It also turned white when it rained on the chair. It went back to clear once it dried again. Not sure if I’m going to use it on the rest of my chairs and the table or not.

Easy to apply, good results on fence
Added this to our redwood fence when it was built new. The wood on our side of the fence looks much more like it's still new compared to our neighbors.Used a cheap, throw-away 1 gallon yard sprayer to apply. Something to note, this applies as a milky, sticky film, but dries clear. Also, if it gets on metal, gate hardware for example, it's far easier to remove if done right away. Will probably reapply after 4 or 5 years.

Does NOT do what it claims to do!
Purchased this for an enclosed patio, which was finished in late July 2016. The product went on easily, dries quickly, cleans up well and looked nice once finished. Fast forward about 5 months and with some early winter rain, several areas of the enclosure started to turn dark - almost black in spots. Other areas don't appear to be holding up when moisture hits it, revealing an almost milky white quality, not unlike the look of it going on wet. A real concern, especially as the water is most certainly not beading up like the picture on the cover of the can.The product's website makes this claim:>> Waterproof, stabilize and maintain original color with the next generation of VOC free and non-toxic eco coating. Lumber-Seal works indoors and outdoors and is a great multipurpose water proofer and sealer for new construction, fencing, wood sidings, shingle sidings, posts and more. Protects against rain, sun, mildew, decay and pests. <<I have some serious concerns about this product as it's barely into it's first six months and already 1/4 of my project looks bad. It most definitely does not repel water and the color variation is truly terrible now, with many areas blotchy and ugly. What looked golden and glowing in August looks like crap no less than five months later. I now need to figure out how much of this Redwood I might need to replace in order to get things looking even throughout. Very frustrated by a product that claimed to maintain the integrity of the gorgeous lumber I chose, only to do the exact opposite and make it look hideous. What looked to be a happy, fulfilling, completed project has now become a money sucking, time sucking nightmare. Buyer beware!
