The single best soap mold in my collection
I got on a major soap-making kick recently, and purchased numerous silicone soap molds so I could make pounds of soap simultaneously. By and large, all of the mold brands with good Amazon reviews(X-Haibei, Grainrain, Longzhang, and Tooto) ended up exceeding or meeting expectations, and I was thrilled with the results all around. However, the #1 hands-down winner was this Dragonfly Lotus Flower mold by X-Haibei.The bars are the ideal size and shape-- perhaps very slightly smaller than a normal bar of Dove soap, for reference. (You can control how thick to make to bars, simply by how high you fill the cavities. If you filled them all the way up, the bars would actually be thicker than a bar of Dove soap, so I chose to fill the cavities 3/4 of the way full. )The silicone is very thick----this is by far the heaviest mold I own. The molded design is deep and bold, so your soaps come out with highly visible 3-D relief. The silicone is still flexible enough that your soaps pop out easily---it basically takes almost no pressure to pop them out. Just pull the silicone slightly to break the vacuum, and then ease the bars out one by one. I can't imagine this silicone mold ever breaking---it's just so thick and sturdy that you could drop it out of a plane and it would be fine. If anyone cares, it's the "dry" kind of rubbery silicone, not the "sticky" kind of (e.g. bra-insert-chicken-cutlet) silicone. (Grainrain and Longzhang are the "sticky" kind.)FYI--- if you make all 4 bars, and fill them at least 3/4 of the way full, you WILL absolutely go through a full pound of melt-and-pour soap. If you like to fill your cavities all the way to the very top, make sure you have 1.5 pounds of melt and pour handy.

Very sturdy and attractive
I bought these for baking little cakes rather than soap making. I'd imagine they'd be great for soap making. As far as baking little cakes in them, I've been having a problem with how thick the bottom is by contrast to the sides. I can't get the cakes to cook through on the bottom without burning on top. But since I'm using it for a different purpose than it's intended, I can't really complain, lol.

Versatile for Handmade Soap
I only use silicone molds for making handmade soap because I don't like the awkward, square, loaf cut bar. This mold makes lovely melt & pour bars that can be layered with colors in the pattern. I have small hands and this mold is really deep so I can make varying sized bars. Silicone molds are usually thin and hard to insulate to gel cold process properly, but this one is heavy duty so if you like gelled soap this might work for you.

Beautiful molds with one thin spot.
These make beautiful soaps and they are sturdy molds - mostly. The bottom is very thick EXCEPT for where that one petal sticks out. The mold is so thin there that I can see through it. I always spray the molds with a tiny bit of alcohol before pouring the soap so that it doesn't stick and rip the mold. That thin spot concerns me.

Great for Cold Process Soap
I purchased this for my home soap business, and I love it. I need to order two more as the shape is very popular with my customers. I like that the bars are a good size and the image is very clean when unmolding my soap.
