clogs easily
i used this filter to operate a small water fall in a large pond. it clogged easily in my pond..it would work in clear water, but it did not handle my pond well

Very poor design for a medium sized pump.
Works fantastically well,,, unless it's used with a strong pump like 1500 gph. When it encounters any sort of resistance, a leaf, some grass almost any thing the cage collapses completely deforming and blocking up the pump!I suppose it would work with a much smaller pump
