Rough Rider Knives 1221 - Masonic Barlow - 3 1/4" closed barlow

Nice knife. We use them for the E.A. when they are received into the Lodge and then present them to the E.A. after the charge reminding them that although they are not authorized to wear Masonic jewelry or emblems, the knife itself is not jewelry to be worn. Instead it is a tool to be used for practical purposes including the emblem which is to be used as a reminder of the degree they aspire to achieve.

Delivered today, the Masonic decal was loose in the bag not attached to the knife. My husband opted to keep the knife and super glue it back on since it was part of his anniversary present. The knife was in good shape other than that.

The heading pretty much says it all. Rough Rider makes good knives at VERY reasonable prices. As I am a Mason, there is a certain appeal to it, and the Barlow-styling is timeless. It has 440 stainless steel so it should perform well for many years or even decades.

I gave this as a gift and the person liked it. Its made in china, so not much else to say.
