Verbatim printable CDs
Not as thick, but prints well and records well.

Very low focus error & tracking error
These disks have the lowest focus error & tracking error of any discs that I have measured. With a good quality burner you can get an excellent, low error rate burn. Apparently the Medi-disc branding from Verbatim does imply better quality control on the discs. I am using them for archiving some family history recordings. The thickness measures 0.043", the same as a number of commercial CDs that I measured. I've had no problem using them anywhere that I have tried them.

the label makes these too heavy/thick for my car, PC, etc...
The weight, or maybe the thinkness, of these CDs makes them not work about 50% of the time. Which is really bad when you're trying to burn CDs, as I've had to throw out the CDs that don't burn correctly because of this.
