I compared both tapes against a high-quality metal tape and a wooden ruler, and they both checked out accurate. I like that the measurements don’t start right at the edge, and that you can actually see the 0. With other tapes (especially ones that include a hook), the origin is not always clear.The retraction button is very convenient; it works well and very quickly. I definitely wouldn’t want to manually wind the tape back in every time I used it. I’m not sure about the construction, so we’ll have to see if it holds up after months/years of pressing.The strands of fiberglass in the tape are supposed to keep it from stretching over time, but again, I’ll have to check back in a few months/years to see if the measurements remain accurate. After using it a couple times, there are no obvious red flags concerning durability. It doesn’t feel like it could rip or tear easily.Overall this is a great value, and would still be a decent value even for a single tape. I got 2 as per the title and description, but if you only receive one, I recommend getting in touch with Amazon support for a replacement. Leaving a 1-star review for a fulfillment error does nobody any good.

This is a really handy tape measure that I need to get several more of. I had it in my sewing box but now it's in my purse. I measure a lot of things for various reasons and this little tape measure is now my go-to measuring tool.Of course, a flexible tape measure is perfect for measuring body circumferences, but it's useful for measuring much more besides. My 30-foot metal builder's tape measure is great for something longer than my arm span but it's awkward for a lot else, including carrying it around with me when I go to a store to see if something (smaller than a bathtub) will fit where I have in mind. I've used long rulers to get the idea of the size of something online that has it's product dimensions in centimeters, but you can't just stick a ruler in your pocket when you're done. This little tape measure takes care of that.I've compared the tape measure to one of my metal rulers and the tape measure is spot on. (see photo)It weighs almost nothing, takes up very little space, has inches on one side and centimeters on the other, and it's retractable so it doesn't end up in a tangled wad like my sewer's tape measures usually do. What's not to love? For something up to 60"/5 feet long, this tape measure does the trick.

I only received one tape measure when the ad says you get a two pack. I complained and they are sending me a replacement for the missing one. The tape measure is accurate and easily retracts. I like the small size.

I REALLY love this little gadget. I bought this for sewing needs and I think it's ideal in every way.-It's compact and measures with a diameter of about 2 in./5 cm.-The tape automatically locks in place at about every inch or so.-The tape fully retracts quickly with the press of the white button shown in the picture.-The tape has a total length of 72 in./180 cm.-The plastic casing is nice and sturdy.-The numbers and markings are big and clear.The only thing is that I wish the tape were just a bit wider but it's not a big deal at all.Other than that, this product is also cheap and definitely earns my recommendation!As a note: I recall one of the other reviews mentions advertisements and numbers written on and included with this product. It looks like that holds true with the white version of this product. I purchased the blue; which is completely free of any advertisements.

I bought this to so my girlfriend and I could take our measurments on a regular basis to track our progress because we're on a new diet which actually works for us. The device work's well. The tape feels fine against the skin, no sharp edges or anything. It's a little difficult to take your own measurements, but that's not the fault of the device, just lack of finesse and skill of user.The one con I did notice is that sometimes when you try to pull the tape out at a specific angle, the rewinding mechanism and the latching mechanism seem to screw up and it won't let you pull it out without feeling like you're about to break the latching mechanism. It's very easy to avoid by just holding down the button when you pull out the tape. Although you should be able to just pull it out without having the press the button, I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker.

Handy and not as cheap as I feared it might be. Have taken a lot of measurements with it now and still going strong. Couple times I figured I was going to break it reeling it back in as the spring is not timid. Little booger whips right back in - now I try to run it through my fingers and catch it last couple inches as the plastic tip will slap into the case. So far seems to work flawless on 50 (?) measurements I have done between me and the girlfriend for new motorcycle chaps, jackets, helmets, etc. Then there is all the kids - even ordered a few extra for stocking stuffers this year as they are handy.

It’s fine. It does what it’s supposed to do BUT I’m sure you can get something at the dollar store for a fraction of the price.

I will give this 3 stars because the product seems good for such a low price but you only get one and the description clearly stated pack of 2. I actually needed two!
