Ergotron hx single ultrawide monitor arm vesa desk mount for monitors up to 49 inches 9.1-19.1 kg

Great quality arm, material looks amazing, easy to install and adjust. I would recommend this arm to anyone who wants to save space in their desk. I have a Samsung G9 49'' monitor and helped me to have a better organized desk.

true ,, its expensive, but here is a couple of things to know after i retuned the cheaper ones to get this one 1.if you have heavy weight monitor (more than 9kg ) then you may get in trouble for fixing the correct TILT position of the monitor 2: up and down position ( lift) is the easy part for many arms to adjust but there is the matter of it moving butter smooth or jiggling ,, if you care about nice and smooth lift adjustment then consider buying this one but if you are used to a very fixed position then you got other choices,, 3:materials used in this product would last for more than normal models because gravity is the number one enemy of these arms specially with heavy ones which are becoming more and more available with tons of options 4: less than 20 minutes is all you need to fix 5: i will update soon for more information and you may ask away anything else

I have bought This arm for my monitor and its absolotly well made ... Quiet heavy but worth it.

Brief Verdict: Buy this HX model if you have a monitor that is larger than 34" and/or weighs more than 10 kg and/or you have a requirement to place the desk very close against the wall. For all other cases, you would have excellent value considering the cheaper LX model or some other cheaper arm in the range of $150-$200. Detailed Review: I am using the arm to mount my Dell 34" U3421WE ultrawide weighing ~7 kg for the past 1 week. Pros: The monitor arm is of excellent quality, solid build and made with robust materials. It could last for a decade or more. I had to loosen the screw adjustments at a lot of places to accommodate free movements, which signifies that it can comfortably hold monitors/TVs with much greater weights and dimensions with ease. It does allow for close placements against the wall even when pushed back to the max depth of my desk (Which gives this model a significant advantage over the LX model). It comes with lots of additional screws, tools and adapters for any sort of mounting requirements for any type of monitor (Even non-VESA compliant ones). One of the best packaged monitor arms I have ever received. Cons: The movements are smooth but not butter-smooth as expected for this price. Flexibility is same as my standard $100 monitor arm. I couldn't still see any significant "value for money" factor against slightly cheaper arms (In the range of $150-$200) for my monitor size and weight. The additional cost doesn't really justify significant usability, flexibility or build quality improvements against the cheaper arms (1-star deduction for this). Yes, it does have a slightly improved performance & quality against my $100 arm but nothing that warrants a 3X price difference. If you have a monitor that is 34" or less and/or weighs 10 kg or less, and don't have a requirement to stick the monitor very close against the wall, you will see no added value against the cheaper LX model. For fellow shoppers ordering from the AE store, you need to consider the added $50 (17%) import fees charged by the sellers (Amazon UK or US as it is still not available from any local sellers), which is on the higher side.

The arm is well built, but I returned because it couldn't hold my LG C2 55 inch.

You are most likely considering to buy this product for your Samsung Neo G9, a monitor that is lighter than the advertised 19kg capacity. Though the arms can lift that weight, the tilt that comes with this product can't lift the G9. To do that, I needed to purchase a separate "Ergotron HX Heavy Duty Tilt Pivot" which is almost half the price of this product. Please consider this before you make your purchase.

This doesn't hold up the Samsung G9 as advertised. By advertised I mean the weight should be able to hold it up based on the specs. The monitor keeps looking downwards, I've tried everything and adjusted/tighten as much as possible but still looks downward. While it looks very good and feels strong and sturdy, I will probably need to do some sort of hack to get it to get the monitor to not look downward.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I have heard about the ergotron brand before and always seen good reviews of it despite of its cost. Functionality: To my surprise this is loaded with all the features, move up and down, tilt sideways tild upwards and downwards, move forward and backwards, just all around pretty much a 360 movement, well 180 for the base and almost 360 for the monitor. Mobility: Takes a bit getting used to with the movement, if you make it more stiff to move, expect it to be hard to do small adjustments but it will stay in place and will not wobble, or you can loosen it and it might wobble a bit more but will be super easy to move about. Cable management: On the back there is 2 ties for cables that run along the arm and a plastic shroud that hides the cables going down behind the table. Easy to use and access. Desk space: I used to have my monitor up on a small elevated riser, and got tired of all the wobble from it, and while that took up a lot of space, this one saves quite a lot, to the point that I dont even know what to do with the empty space :D Totally loving it, it holds an LG C2 42" just fine, but it DID require a vesa mount adapter 300x200, as the included one only goes up to 200x200. so much cleaner on the desk and I can move the monitor closer any time I want to or further away if I dont want it to be up close. Assembly is also very simple, I did not drill a hole into my desk so I used the end clamp and it clamps on very strongly, the base is heavy but i have a table that is roughly 3cm in height and is made of solid wood so no issues with that. The first part slides into place easily and the second also, clipping on the monitor was a breeze even alone so you dont necessarily need 2 people to do it, clip attached, screw in from the bottom and it wont go anywhere! as stable as it can be.

I was looking for a monitor arm so I can suspend my very heavy 27” iMac. This Ergotron HX fits the bill perfectly! It’s rated at being able to carry 45 pounds and it sure is true! It has no trouble lifting my close to 22 pounds 27” iMac with very, very minimal wobble (which can be expected considering it’s cantilevered). The one I got was the white version and the product looks great in powder white. Installation was very easy; I had to use a VIVO VESA Mounting Adapter Kit for the iMac. The adapter attached to the stand. The first time I attached the iMac to the arm, it didn’t even drooped! There are points in the joints where you can adjust the tension and mine was already stiff right out of the box. A bit pricey, but worth it! I am not in any way worried that my iMac will fall down. Highly recommended!

Zeer blij mee. Als je hem uit de doos haal voel je gelijk dat het geen rommel is. Echt kwaliteit spul. Makkelijk te installeren maar neem er wel ff de tijd voor.
