I’ve been deciding on new knives & after reading the description & many of the reviews, I purchased the carving, bread & chef. They are exactly what I need in the kitchen, perfect weight and the blade & handle design are very distinctive. I did contact customer support with a small issue with the chef knife due to my wrist issues and it was resolved immediately. Very courteous customer service rep, prompt e-mail replies and follow-up conversation. Definitely recommend Paudin products, many quality knives & sets to choose from.

look, it's a semi cheap made in china knife, so i had expectations to use it a bit and sharpen often, maybe with some handle issues. i experienced none of those.came with a good edge and it's holding - i'm not sure it'd really work as a sushi knife (assuming they're just trying to beat the amazon algo) because i'm assuming the steel is QUITE hard. but, for less techincal cuts and carving, it's great.aesthetics are nice on the handle, and it's comfy. it's wood of course, so you have to keep it clean, but balance is good and feels comfy in the hand. the damascus etching on the blade (no, you're not getting a real damascus knife for $30) is kinda odd looking imo, but not a dealbreaker.would buy again for sure as it exceeded my expectations.

Be careful opening. It's really sharp! Worked extremely well for my first few uses.
