I purchased containers thinking from the description that it was to use in conjunction with an app. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and it was completely useless. I answered all the questions on the app and it gave completely inaccurate information. I changed the answers just to see what it would say and it gave the exact same answers. I could have bought the same containers for much less if I had known that's all they would be

The containers are nice but if you intend to use them to actually transport food be aware they will leak. For me they are nothing more than a glorified set of measuring cups which in and of itself is not terrible as I needed to learn appropriate portion sizes. Just be aware that if you plan to use these for your lunch bag/box dont pack anything with liquid in them.

I while back I did Beachbody’s “21 Day Fix” to lose some weight and gain healthier habits. It is an exercise and portion control that I would highly recommend. When I saw this “Easy Eating Plan for Healthy Living - 7 Portion Control Containers and FREE Measuring spoons” it looked just like the “21 Day Fix” plan. I could use additional containers so I don’t have to wash mine each night so that is why I ordered these. The containers are made of a sturdy plastic. The lids are a little difficult to open and close. The spoons are made of a very hard plastic and are quite cheaply made.When they arrived I compared them to the “21 Day Fix” containers that I already owned. They are the same size, color and shape. Each color contain is associated with a certain food group. Based on your ideal calorie intake you have a set number of each container.The app that came with to look up your calorie intake was very simple, but to simple. It offered no explanation except how many of each contain you should eat. I enclosed a picture so you can see. Once you get your results there is no further instruction. If you weren’t familiar with the beach body plan, I don’t think these would be helpful to you.I am obligated to disclose that I was fortunate enough to be able to try this product free for my unbiased and honest review. I would be willing to pay full price for this item again though. The opinion here is my own unbiased opinion based on my experience with this product. The Good1. Well made containers with good quality material. The measuring spoons are also well made. According to the symbols at the bottom of the containers, they are:-BPA free-recyclable-microwavable-food safe-dishwasher safe.2. Stackable when placed one inside another. save storage when not in use.3. Many colors for color coding food. Great for making sure that you use the same container for certain foods. For example: pungent food. Also great for planning out diet with these color codes: vegetables = green, fruit = purple, proteins = red, carbs = yellow, fats = blue, orange = grains/seeds4. There are ridges on the sides that make it easier to pry the containers open.The Bad1. One of my containers has a loose cover which comes off easily. I suspect other container covers will pop off easily after several uses.2. The price is a bit high for size of the containers as of now. It was priced at $12.95 when I bought this if not mistaken. See picture. For comparison, the largest spoon is size of a tablespoon.3. Not all of the containers are stackable on top of each other. Only containers of the same size can be securely stacked on top of each other4. Not freezer safe. This can be inconvenient for leftovers.Overall, this is a good starter set for portion control. 4.5/5 stars because it works well for me. I pointed out the cons of this product for future buyers to consider. I occasionally submit reviews for products I enjoy so I got to buy this first one at a cheaper price. My cousin is trying to lose some weight so I’ll be purchasing another set for her when the price is lower.

No directions in the box, nothing on the box either I tried to use the code but said the site is temporary down, it's been more than a couple months.
