One Speaker Review; Good Sound & Volume, Long Playtime
This is a review for one speaker, not a pair of speakers. If you are shopping for a speaker and don’t want to spend almost $110 for two of these, the seller has one just like this selling for $49.99, a savings of $4.00About this speaker:1. Truly rugged. It looks and feels as though it can take a lot of abuse2. Good sound. Clear and well balanced, with good bass. My music preferences are “easy listening”, country and bluegrass and for those genres the sound is great. I am listening to “Classic Country” as I type this and am enjoying it. The singers sound as they should, including the ones with deep voices.3. Good volume. With a 10W speaker (5Wx2), the volume from one speaker is good enough for a room your house and a small group outdoors, but it is not going to fill an auditorium with music or entertain a big crowd at a party4. Too big and heavy to be called “portable” even though a carabiner comes with it. 21 ounces, 7”x2.75”x2.75”, is much to large to carry in your pocket and too heavy for hikers to clip to their pack. You can take it to the beach and other activities, but for just walking around with a speaker in the purse or pack, there are others with good sound that are much easier to carryPower Bank. Being able to use it as a power bank is a bonus. I wouldn’t buy this as a power bank, there are power banks with greater capacity and smaller size readily available for less money. But if you are at the beach for the day and your phone goes dead, you’ll be glad to be able charge it, providing, of course, you remembered to bring a charge cable. The battery is 7000 mAh, making this is an up-to 20-hour playtime speaker, unless you also use the power bank, since both draw from the 7000 mAh.Water Resistance: The speaker s not waterproof. It has an IPX4 rating, which means it is protected from splashing water but not from streams of water, like the shower or heavy rain, and most certainly it should not be submerged. You can take it in the shower, but keep it to the side, not under the stream of water flowing from the shower head and be sure the sealing flaps are closed.Pairing: Quick and easy (S7720S), providing you read the user guide before hand. Pressing the power button only turns the power on, it does not put it in the pairing mode.To pair, first press the power button; you will see a red light. Then press the play/pause button until red/blue is flashing. That is when the speaker is in the pairing mode.Controls: On one end, clearly marked. Power button in the center; around it are the 2 volume/track change buttons, call button and play/pause button. Long press for volume changes.Ports: At the other end, protected by a flap are: USB charge port and USB port for power bank. Also at that end are the button you press to see how much capacity the battery has in it and the little blue lights, each indicating 25% of the capacity. The lights go on when you charge battery, showing it being filled, when you charge a device, showing it being transferred, and when you press the button to see how much capacity is still in the battery. On the side, just below the controls, is a 3.5mm jack protected by a flapIncluded with the speaker are a charge cable, 3.5mm audio cable, carabiner, split ring, and a very well done user guide in English only.Sample provided at a discount, but my only obligation to the seller is an honest review.

Super loud and now I can listen to everything in stereo!
The media could not be loaded. I had previously tested this speaker individually and found it to be loud with a couple of little design issues that I thought could be better. Then, I was told that you can purchase two of these speakers and sync them together so that you could have stereo sound and I knew I had to try it.The reason I wanted two speakers was because we have a projector that we watch movies on occasionally but the sound is awful so I put a bluetooth transmitter in the headphone jack and use a bluetooth speaker so we can actually hear what we are watching, now I will be able to use both of these speakers and not only will our movie be loud it will now be in stereo and we won't all have to huddle around one speaker! So here's the basics of the individual speaker. It should be noted that to get the stereo affect you will need to purchase two speakers separately. I was confused at first because I thought they came as a set so I want to make sure other people didn't make the same mistake as me.First and foremost these speakers are LOUD. I didn't even have them up all the way when I was reviewing them. I had my phone up all the way but didn't even come close to turning the speakers all the way up. The things design wise that I have an issue with is that the charging cord and the USB (because this is a battery bank as well) are on what I believe is the bottom (in the product image it is facing up, it is the black circle, all the plug ins are under it) and the controls are on the other end; this leaves me to believe it is probably best to put this horizontal so you can get to both ends easily. Also when the speaker is sitting on the black circle and you have the carabiner on it seems like it doesn't sit properly. Of course these are trivial things but still worth mentioning. It should be noted as well that the black circle cover is only held on with a thin piece so I worry that it will break sooner rather than later. All that being said the sound is great, as I said before it is very loud and the sound quality is quite good. Syncing the speakers together and to the phone is very simple. First turn on each of the speakers individually with the power button. Next press the volume + button on one and the volume - on the other (it doesn't matter which is which) and hold those buttons in until you hear the speakers beep (about 2 seconds). Next press and hold the play button on the speaker you want to be your main speaker and your speakers are now paired together. Then open your bluetooth on your phone and click the one for your speakers and you're all set. I was quite impressed when it worked and it worked smoothly the first time with minimal effort. From what I can tell you have to do these steps every time you want both speakers to work, they don't seem to stay connected otherwise. Its not a big deal if you use these regularly but if you don't do it for a while you might forget the steps and if you don't keep the users manual with you that might be a pain.Otherwise, these are well made, super loud and they work together which is the first time I've experienced that with a bluetooth speaker. Very cool.I received this complimentary product for my honest and unbiased review.
