so far so good
As it often happens, I've ordered this plow after the heavy snowfall, and there wasn't another one, so I haven't got a chance yet to try it in proper action. But I've had piles of snow still sitting around next to the driveway, so I've set to moving them farther onto the grass. It took me some time to learn how to do things right, but on the second attempt it was eventually a success. And when I've got the tractor stuck and had to do some manual shoveling, I've discovered that the snow was very dense and heavy, I could not even throw a shovelful of it, so I've got pretty impressed with the blade. So, how to do it: The instruction says to set the spring for the automatic release of the blade for the weakest position, and then tighten when needed. Well, it's always needs to be tightened, the weakest position is way too weak. Tighten it to the half-way position right away. Then, to move the heavy snow, tilt the blade to the left (or right, mirroring), accelerate and break off a chunk with the right edge of the blade. Then back off, shift to the left, and drive this chunk away. With the higher pile, sometimes you need to break off the chunk with a partially-raised blade, to avoid grabbing too much. The blade slides well over even the bumpy the grass without digging in.The instruction says to remove the mower deck when plowing, and I now know why: not only it's sticking out to the side, but this sticking-out part also rides over the compressed snow, lifting the rear tire, and making the tractor stuck. But if you take care to avoid doing that, then the deck doesn't get too much in the way, and there seem to be no structural reasons. The blade also worked well on the compost but not to scrape the unevenness on the grass, the whole package just either gets stuck or the blade flips on the spring when trying to straighten the grass. The rubber cover on the blade lifting handle doesn't stay put, needs to be glued. But the handle feels too short anyway: it's OK if you just lift or lower the blade once in a while, but not convenient for adjusting the blade to an intermediate position. I plan to extend it with another tube.Packaging: not very good, the bag with the small parts got broken, and the parts spread around the box. Fortunately, only one pin got lost.Installation: Fit well on my Craftsman 247-series garden tractor. The instruction is easy to follow, but the instruction gets the assembly order backwards: it's much easier to start with placing the mount on the tractor and then adding other parts piecemeal onto it than to lift the whole assembled blade onto the tractor. Unfortunately, once you place the mount on the tractor, there is no easy way to put the bumper back on, other than by unbolting and bolting again. I wish the bumper had the same quick-mount system as the blade.

Perfect upgrade for a long driveway & lawn tractor
The media could not be loaded. Great blade for a lawn tractor. We live on a 3.5 acre, mostly wooded, hilly property. I had wanted a small tractor for odd jobs (so little grass it can be done by hand faster), and one of those was snow removal. We're right in that in-between. Snowblower takes a while and isn't useful for light dustings. Really don't need a big tractor and/or truck plow for 99% of the time. The idea was to put a small blade on the Cub Cadet XT-1 and have that work for the majority of the times. Best idea I've had.Attachment went quickly with a regular tool set. Took a few minutes every once in a while to compare picture to frame and think through an attachment, but no jerry-rigging was necessary. Standard limitations of the setup were expected (manual angle changes), but not a big deal. I can do our driveway in about half the time as the blower and just sit on my butt. Perfect.I did invest in a set of rear tire treads (rubberized with chain sides, also on Amazon) to help with traction; very necessary. Blade held up fine through multiple plows this season. Only complaint, and I may still make a solution, is that when set on an angle, the a small portion of the snow will fall out under the tires for my tractor size. I doubt a 48" blade would make a difference, but maybe a 50"? Still thinking this through.Adjustments were easy to make throughout. I've added a video showing a spring project where I'm packing soil and skimming it to do grass planting. You can see the spring-back action of the blade when it hits an obstacle (in this case, a small tree stump); flips back quickly and no damage. It did a surprisingly good job on this activity. I can remove and reset the attachment myself within a minute with the spring locks.

Sturdy plow easy to assemble
The assembly went easy, screws were missing from the box as a corner of the box got ripped and the screws fell out thus the 4 stars, thankfully I have a hardware store in my garage so screws and lock washers weren't a problem. Seller put all the screws in a ziplock bag then packing tape the bag to the shovel, I've read several reviews where people had stated missing screws so I wish you'd learn your lesson!I was unsure how sturdy this thing would be but after plowing my 250' driveway twice and slamming it in to snow banks repeatedly I checking the blade and structure for bending I couldn't see any so the thing is solid. I do wish the raise/lower bar was a little longer so I didn't have to almost get out of my seat to adjust the blade height, that was my only annoyance.Edit after using all this past winter, worked awesome and no sign of the blade or assembly bending at all.Great tractor plow for the price, I like it!

Little guy does a good job!
I love this little guy, have had it for several years now, been using it on a 2020 Cub Cadet XT1 (i think thats the model/year). First winter, it handled pushing 6+ inches of snow in a gravel driveway with ease, had to re-adjust the feet every time I finished, because well, gravel and a blade just don't mix with out some serious bouncing and jaring. But seriously, a 150 foot gravel drive is a nightmare to clear when you have to get to work. It's either shovel all night long and then head to work, or drive over it. This has saved my back, my heart, and kept me from kneeling over in pain.If you are thinking about buying a blade, do it! This thing has handled a few winters well.I strongly suggest before, and after each use, using something like PB Blaster or Fluid Film on all the nuts/bolts, joints, etc, to help prevent rust from eating it up. If you do that, this thing seems to last forever.

It works great!
Bought this plow for my dad as he’s getting older and I didn’t want him suffering while having to push his snow plow back and fourth this winter, and he’s absolutely in love with it! We live in Canada and got a heavy snowfall so it was the perfect time to see what it’s capable of and it works like a charm and a lot faster than the snow blower! I will say we do plan on putting rods in it to get it to pivot without having to manually do it but it’s an absolute game changer

Good product
I used it to move dirt on my backyard and it worked very well. It took me some time to figure out the connection to my tractor, but when was connected it worked well.

Easy install, easy to use.
46" snow blade and rear weight kit.Super easy to install on my yardworks tractor. Took less than an hour from unboxing to done. Time includes rear weight brackets and snow blade.First use was in about 10" of WET and HEAVY snow. I only had one suitcase weight in the back and hadn't lifted the blade with the skid rails or whatever they're called, so took way longer than it should have. That's my own fault and still only took about an hour to do clear a big section of my back yard and my entire driveway.I have tire chains on, 100% necessary. Bought 2 more suitcase weights and set the skid rails to about 1/2" blade lift. Haven't had another significant snowfall yet, but I'm 100% sure that whatever the rest of winter can throw at me, this thing will be able to handle. I'm telling you, this snow was HEAVY and my tractor coupled with the blade and just 1 weight handled it beyond my expectations. Easy to set blade angles. Easy to lift and drop blade. (I'm a little too short for my tractor 5'6", so found a 1' length of PVC pipe that perfectly attached to the lift handle, works like a charm.)I'm excited for the next snowfall so I can get out and push some more snow! (Properly, with the blade set up properly and extra weight). Gonna be a fun time. And yes, I took the mower deck off before pushing any snow. Easy peasy.

Missing skid plate. Poor welding. No QA
Close to the end of assembly I noticed a missing skid plate as well as a lock nut for the skid plate bolt. So what now? Cannot return because I opened the partially open box an started assembly.Could initially not fix the bracket to the blade because of an oversized weld which I had to grind down. So nobody checked if it could be assembled. The weld on the other side was half done. How long will this last?No option at Amazon to request the missing part.
