I love the basic design of this. I am not a huge fan of leaves/deer etc so I chose this item due to the minimalistic design. It hold more than enough wood for our cold wet NC days to use in the wood burning fireplace. We have a larger husband cut wood pile outside but it is not covered so once it rains its not great to use for awhile until it dries out. Letting it dry out inside (I fill this up with damp wood as I add dry pieces to the fireplace) and that helps keep a good stock of dry wood for burning. it fits perfect on the hearth (at an angle but I measured and planed before I ordered) and it looks attractive in the room. Very pleased with this item.

This log is exactly as pictured and really easy to assemble. It looks really nice by our fireplace and I would recommend it you are looking for a smaller firewood holder next to your fireplace. It holds the amount of wood shown in the pictures, so about 2-3 fires for us. It is convenient to have this located next to the fireplace to easily replace logs as the fire burns.

If you plan on using your fireplace or wood stove on occasion, its probably fine. It holds enough wood for about 2 loads for my wood stove. If it is your main source of heat, this firewood stand is likely too small. It was a good starter for me. I will need to go bigger.

This log holder is attractive enough to have in my living room and holds enough small split wood for an evening or two without having to go outside for wood. Perfect size.

I have this outside -we'll have to see how it handles the winter but so far it has been sturdy and will hold a small amount of firewood handsomely.
