This shade of purple is so nice, and I love the matte finish of this little ceramic. But it is a lot smaller than I expected. It's about the size of a softball...but either way, I feel a lot more fortunate with this piece in my collection :)

I bought this as a cute little replacement for my full size, actually waving maneki neko that got broken by a curious toddler. Comparing the two would be like comparing apples to bread, so I won't. For the price, as a replacement for something slightly irreplaceable, I really like this little guy. Pleasing shape, nicely made. The stickers to each side are actually stickers and I had to press them down again firmly at the corners which was a little irritating but not a deal breaker. Sturdy - it's survived two 3' falls onto carpet after a jerk cat batted it off the bookshelf. (this is why I don't have nice things)

Are you a person that cannot let a penny on the ground go? Do you like to use cash and have change all the time? Do you play a lot of Pinball and always have extra quarters? I do! This bank is both cute and functional, and not so large that it can't fit in small areas by the door. TBH, I already filled it up and am thinking of getting another.

Very cute round little maneki neko. The porcelain has a matte finish and smooth texture. The two boxes with characters are stickers and not painted but the stickers also have the matte finish so it is not very obvious. They are not the typical glossy type stickers. I removed one star because I had to stick the stickers back in position when I opened it and I have had to smooth it down a few times to keep it sticking. If you plan to use this as a bank and empty it often, you may have to find a cap/plug that fits for reuse because of the green felt covering the bottom hole (not designed for more than one removal). I am using this as a decorative item so this is not an issue for me.This kitty is adorable and fat and happy and will bring you joy when you look at his/her little face, along with possible protection from evil spirits? Your mileage may vary.

Cute item, perfect size, was suppose to a little add-on house gift to a gift card but...-It has a dry matte finish that's not easy to clean. Will need to spray it with a gloss or matte finish that is wipeable.-You can't get the money out. The bottom has glued on felt fabric over the opening instead of a rubber stopper.Should have returned it but didn't.
