ANSWER IS NO!. 12 kn of force, would not work with a piezoelectric element. This control is for small vibrations like knocking on door or awning that wind swings in the breeze.

Absolutely, Sub-G reading capable...will detect rail car motion via vibration. Problem you’ll have to surmount is they are so sensitive, discriminators in the code will be required to remove the noise of the car standing still, as well as other vibrations from near by things. Good luck
