Would this make a great gift for fans off any age?

Hi!  I happen to be one of the older fans of the Dragon movies and TV shows (not telling my age!) and I am collecting all of the dragons and action figures that have come out.  Several of the Night Fury's I have removed from their boxes and have placed them around the office in my house.   The action figures will probably stay in their packages at least for now.  Certainly any fan would like them and it's best to get them now when the new movie has been recently released.  The manufacturer of these figures (SpinMaster) has been hit and miss on these toy/collectible items.  Overall production has been low on everything especially when the first movie came out. Even with the TV shows, their production didn't increase. Certain dragons  and action figures were extremely scarce even when new, and that's why some sellers on auction sites have asked ridiculously high prices for them. The ones that have been the scarcest are Astrid and the twins.  If you see any of those I would recommend getting one  of those ASAP. Getting them now will avoid them disappearing at the toy and discount stores and potentially being resold at higher prices by dealers later on.  More than likely in a short time, the stock of these toys will dwindle and eventually be gone as the toy production companies move on to other promotions. I got my Dragon characters because I love the movies and TV shows - not because they will be worth anything.   So...I know that was a long answer, but hopefully it helped.  I have the small green "terrible terror" perched on my computer as I write so yes, these figures are great for any age.

Does his prosthetic leg break easily or is it resistant somewhat?

It seems strong . My grandson roughly plays with it, So far it is still intact

do these figures ride the dragons like the dual pack in the stores?

Hiccup has two little slits in his thigh for riding Dragons, however it was pretty difficult on the dragon I have... I did manage to get it to work though. Can't recall about Drago... Think he had something too but didn't try it out, he wasn't as flexible due to his hair and costume.
