With no edge at the top of the can it is easier to get out thick soups and every last drop of the liquids.The only 2 reasons it does not completely replace a normal can opener:#1 when draining tuna I cannot push this lid into can to squeeze out the juice.#2 When removing tomato paste I open both ends of the can and push out the contents with the lid. This can't be done with this can opener.

The opener smooothly removes the can lid. It easily attaches to the can and requires little effort to turn the handle. The opener releases the lid with a slight backward turn of the handle. I have been very satisfied.

I've used it to cleanly open 2 cans without sharp edges. It was easy to figure out (unlike another "no sharp edges" one that I used) but turning the knob was a bit hard and the knob shape is not ergonomic - I suggest hold a small rag over the knob if your hands can get achy.Considering the extremely low price, it's worth trying.

FINALLY.... that works. LOL. I had purchase a differnt can opener and couldn't get the lid off. I spent 20 minutes trying and said forget it and throw it in the trash. This one 100% no fighting to set it on the can and take the lid off. Didn't cost a fortune. Phew so greatful! Thank you......

I don't know why these are so hard to find but its fantastic. No sharp edges, no digging around inside the can to pull out the sharp top.. And if you're not going to keep whatever is in the can long you can just plop the top back on and pop it in the fridge. Plus it doesn't stop working! Must have!

The bottle opener works great.The can opener is completely useless. The can opener has a horizontal cutting wheel that is supposed to cut through the circumference of the can just above where it is attached to the side. The trouble is, the cutting wheel doesn't go all the way through the metal, leaving it between you and whatever is inside.Eventually, I got the can open with a Swiss Army knife, but i knew that I could do that without spending the money on this item. I definitely would not buy this one again.

I do not have the shelf space for an electric can opener. So manual it must be. In the past I have often struggled with manual can openers not cutting consistently throuth the metal. I have not had that problem with this one.

Love this product. Easy to use. Like how there are no sharp edges. Easy for my grandkids to use.
