The rose and black pepper is literally the worst smell imaginable! I am trying to run away from my armpits right now and am failing miserably. I have immediately washed my pits with soap and water to no avail and the high powered stench has permeated into my skin and now I don’t know how long I will smell like this. A day, a week? FOREVER? I will be the stinky person that crowds will run away from!!! “Ewh what is that smell” people will say! And it will be ME!!! Don’t buy this!!! For the love of all this good in this world… don’t click this button!!! I don’t know how this scent made it through their marketing department unless they were all stoned that day. This is simply horrifying. Don’t do it! You have been forewarned!!!!

I really had high hopes for this. I had run out of Schmidt's magnesium and charcoal formula, and, at the time, I wasn't willing to pay the constantly rising cost for a few ounces. Rose and black pepper is a beautiful scent combination, but that's as far as it goes. The first day must have been a fluke because I have been smelly ever since - despite applying it at night and in the morning. Even after a generous application my pits are stinking a few hours into my workday. I have a very sedentary job, so I feel pity for anyone who has a labor intense job and thought this formula would protect them. Then on top of that, my pits are now darkened, bumpy, and itchy. Fortunately, I found a container hidden in my sock drawer. It's noon and I just sniffed my pits. So far, so good. Lesson: if it works, stick to it. You get what you pay for.

I love Schmidt’s deodorant, and have bought several different scents. This scent has been my least favorite. I could see it being someone else’s signature scent, but not mine. It’s way too floral and strong for me. That being said, it works! No BO! I will say that all Schmidt’s scents I’ve tried are better than any other natural deodorant brands I’ve tried, as far as actually working and not just making you smell like slightly altered BO.

Despite all the bad reviews for this product, it works for me but the deodorant is lumpy. I’ve never used lumpy deodorant and it does feel funny and kinda hurts in the application. It isn’t rock solid so it does spread a bit. I bought this brand because it was on sale and probably wouldn’t buy it again. It works, but just isn’t my favorite. I will say thought, the scent is an interesting name, but it smells floral and not super peppery!

The smell is livened up by the black pepper so it’s not overwhelmingly floral. Goes on a little thick but lasts all day even in summer heat. Most deodorant gives me a rash but I’ve never had a problem with this brand’s sensitive skin line.
