I'm a pro chef and as such I only use finger gaurds while getting used to a new knife that I've never used such as a nakiri I recently purchased,I bought these because they were cheap as I will only use for a few weeks or when I get a new type of Japanese knife I thought the added bonus was the we Asian engraving but guess what there just plain steel no etching what so ever but they still do what I want a temporary finger gaurd so you can get used to working without it,or if you're not confident with big sharp knives.

Look robust and comfortable to use, not much fine chopping required recently.

I'm always worried that the knife will slip & cut my fingers. Now I have these finger protectors, I'm not worried anymore. Very practical & can be slightly adjusted to suit finger size
