Surprisingly tame for something with Reaper as the second ingredient
I picked up a bottle of Green Reaper on a road trip in Wisconsin, and it's excellent. The prickly pear, lime, and garlic make it pretty similar to a salsa verde, and especially to Tabasco's green sauce, but the reaper gives it plenty of heat. I'm confused, however, about how mild it is. Reaper tends to give a sauce intense spice and a ton of sweetness, but this stuff doesn't have too much spice and the sweetness is mellowed by the acidity of the rest of the ingredients. Nonetheless, this is a great sauce to add to poultry and pork. I enjoyed it over some turkey and stuffing tonight.
