Less than clear description...
This bar is much narrower than I thought/hoped. It does appear to be well-made -- solid steel bars, strong welds, nice finish -- but the length of 61" is at the weight-loading level, not the shoulder/rackable level. The upper portion of this bar is actually only 39" wide, rendering it unusable on a standard rack/power cage. It is therefore ONLY suitable for squat stands that are adjustable in width or free-standing. The majority of the purchase cost is shipping, which is not refundable. I am now stuck with a bar I can't use, as return shipping is $98, leaving a net refund of $13 on a nearly $300 purchase. Buyer beware! Make sure you know the dimensions you need and buy accordingly -- you're not going to be able to send this back. The seller also produces a larger bar that looks long enough to rack properly, yet even that one still only states the length at the weight-loading level again, not the upper bar (which I estimate it to be about 57"). Final note -- the seller wrapped and packed the bar extremely well, so $150 for shipping isn't as bad as I initially thought.

Excellent
I do not have back issues, but I can not use a normal squat bar, as I no longer have enough flexibility in my arms and shoulders. This cam-bar fits the bill! It easily racks up on my standard squat racks, and I use safety racks as safety catches on the bottom. You grip it with hands down just above waistline. It takes a bit of getting used to, but you adapt fast. I have made significant and rapid gains; the burn is in gluts and quads, not back! There is a risk of losing balance at first, as the weight is like a "swinging pendulum". But you get used to it. My only concern is it is welded pieces, not one solid bar. It is rated for 500 lbs, but still .... (I don't think I'll ever much past 200 anyway, so I should be safe). I recommend this.
