I absolutely love my swing! I know it isn't advertised as such, but these make very nice sensory therapy swings. I would highly recommend this swing for that purpose because it does give a nice hug feeling at a fraction of the cost. So far, everyone in the family has enjoyed it. It's very comfortable and sturdy. I also added pillows and a swivel to make it more comfy. Mine is hanging inside in my room, so no worries about weathering. I also used my own hanging hardware. So while I can't speak for the hook or strap that came with it, I can say that the swing itself can easily hold over 300 lbs. as advertised. I have no doubt that this swing will last for a long time. This is the second swing I've purchased. The other one was similar, but from a different company. In comparison, this swing was very easy to assemble and came with a nice instruction leaflet. The travel bag and inside pocket are very nice added features too. I'm considering purchasing again for a different part of the house. For those still trying to decide and weighing the reviews, I recommend getting a good heavy duty swivel and chain for hanging. It really makes a huge difference. I purchased a Seleware bearing swivel here off of Amazon that works stellar. UPDATE: We had one of the ropes on the side fray and break, despite indoor use. I contacted the company and they quickly sent us a replacement. Great customer service!!

Update: The seller reached out and sent me a new chair. The top rope was a few inches longer and MUCH better! Very comfortable and the perfect addition to my patio space. Customer service was 5 stars, but kept the rating at 4 because of the initial quality concerns. Original: These were very affordable, cute, and seemed like they'd last. But I couldn't actually assemble them. The top rope that attaches to the S-hook was too short to fit the spreader bar on both chairs I purchased. Reached out to the manufacturer and heard nothing back, so returned them without being able to use them.

Updated: the company reached out to me after they saw my review on the fabric tearing. They offered me a full refund as well as a full replacement! Amazing customer service. I have changed my review from three stars to five stars. I appreciate that they stand behind their product. I really do love these hammocks and they’ve been great hanging outside on our huge oak tree. The problem is the fabric tore after a while. I guess if you take them down and bring them inside every time they might last longer. My guess is they don’t hold up well in the elements (rain and wind). They are in the shade so it’s not sun exposure. I still would recommend but definitely don’t leave them hanging outside for long periods of time.

I am loving these new hammock chairs for our front porch! We purchased this type of hanger for the swings "BeneLabel Permanent Antirust Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Swing Hanger, 1000 LB Capacity, 2 Screws for Wooden and 2 Expansion Bolts for Concrete, Yoga Hammock Chair Sandbag Swing Sets, 360° Swing" and have been using them for about a month. The swings fit me perfectly (5'3, 140 lbs). I can sit with my legs out or crossed yoga style in them and still have head support. For my 6 ft almost 200 lb teen, he also fits fine for general sitting but his position options are limited to mostly chair style. His legs are out and I think he would like a slightly larger hammock chair option so he can slouch in it AND have a head rest. But he likes to swing in them anyway. We both have been testing the range of how high we can swing without bashing into the porch railings so they swings seem pretty sturdy. I think there is a slightly longer version available. Maybe we will get one of those for the taller people in our house. I will have to wait a while to be able to comment on durability but my neighbor has had hers for over a year with no issues.
