If you are having a mastectomy this is a must have
I had a bilateral mastectomy and came home with four drains. It’s not a comfortable experience. But if you are coming home with drains having these will make you much more comfortable. You will be able to sleep more comfortably without pulling on the drains or the drains chaffing you. And of course bathing, the shower bag is so needed, so you can hang it on your neck and still shower. I would also recommend a shower chair, also bought here on Amazon to help with the limited arm movement you will have. I was able to put my head between my knees and wash my own hair after the first week. And my drains were in for three weeks. I’m sure everyone is different and that may not be the case for everyone but I was pretty happy to be a little bit more self sufficient when you are under so many restrictions while you heal. To anyone who is looking to buy this for yourself , hang in there, you will heal. And if you want to buy this as a gift for someone who may need it and not be thinking about this, it’s going to used, it’s needed, trust me. Best wishes.

A must have for ANY sort of drain...
I had a single mastectomy and came out of the hospital with one drain. I brought this with me and used it right when I checked out of the hospital. I never took it off except to shower and then used the included shower tote.I have 2 dogs and was worried they may get snagged on my drain tube and pull it out. 🤢 as long as you use the little snap on the sides of the pouch, attached the the belt, your drain tube will stay close to you body and there will be nothing to get snagged on anything. I didn’t figure that out for a few days. When I went to my post op appointments both surgeons asked about the belt. ( I was using the other pouch to carry my cell phone and chapstick so it came in SO handy). I provided them both with the link to this product as they both thought it was a great tool for their patients! Thank you for making something affordable, practical, and SO important for drain care! I’ve also recommended this to friends going into procedures. Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️

This product worked perfectly. It did everything I needed ...
This product worked perfectly. It did everything I needed it to do. I had four drains after a bilateral mastectomy and two reservoirs fit with room to spare in each pouch. I was even able to gently tuck the excess drain tubes into the pouches along with the reservoirs. I packed it in my bag to the hospital and was able to go home using it from the get-go. This is such a simple product and yet nothing can beat it for securing your drain tubes and reservoirs. I never once had a drain pull or get caught on anything because I had this product. This is one of the must-haves if you're going in for a mastectomy or lumpectomy with drains.

Extremely cheap
The pocket ripped with normal use on the first day. Generally uncomfortable. I am guessing there are much better options out there. The quality is poor. Would not recommend.

Fell apart
Fell apart after day 3 too flimsy.

A Must For Mastectomy or Any Surgery Requiring Jackson-Pratt Drains
I have had 9 surgeries requiring Jackson Pratt drains (double mastectomy and 8 more surgeries because of complications due to failed breast reconstruction). Have only had this post surgical drain holder for the last 2 surgeries and sure wish I had known about it sooner! It's great for ease and comfort and keeping drain bulbs clean. Keeps the drain bulbs securely out of the way and hidden discretely under clothing. Love that it comes with separate plastic holder to secure drains while in the shower. I recommend this drain holder not only for breast-cancer patients undergoing mastectomy and reconstruction, but for anyone undergoing abdominal or other surgeries requiring Jackson-Pratt drains.

Have to be ultra careful with snaps
After my gall bladder surgery, I had a J-drain for a month. This belt made going to work easier than having to pin the drain to my pants. This also made going to the bathroom easier as I didn't have to worry about tugging the tube or breaking the stitch. The only complaints are that the adjustable strap slides over the course of the day, so I had to keep tightening it. The two pockets are a bit too close together, so one was on my hip the other was in front of me. Also, the material is so thin that it you aren't extremely careful with unsnapping the pocket,it will rip right through the material. There should be some reinforcing at the snaps. It served it's purpose, but I think the overall quality could be a bit better. The shower pouch seemed oversized, but overall worked well.
