Skechersfor Work Men's Hartan Steel Toe Slip-On Shoe

Very good good shoes. Fit well and also quite stylish. I'm knocking a star only cause they're a just a little heavy for UAE weather. I'm probably being a little harsh.... Skechers can't control the weather.

Lovely looking and comfortable slip on work shoe. However 4 weeks after purchase and with light day use (walking around a warehouse), these started to break up. The hard casing around the heel starts to break up on the inside of the shoe. Five months after purchase and there is very little of the structure left in the heel, with shards of composite material fragmenting daily. Have been impaled in the foot a few times by these now. Such a shame. I'd steer clear of these and put your well earned money into something else.

I always wear sketchers. Size 9 for me perfect fit. As these were. However after only five weeks use the right shoe has completely given up. The seller “elite” not interested as more than 30 days. Bear in mind these are Work Shoes. Not casual clothing. But meant to be made for work so expected to last more than five 5 weeks of wear. Even then I make timber framed houses and work in a factory beside a work bench. NOT ON SITE so even lighter use than could be expected.Massively dissatisfied with the seller and brand.DO NOT BUY.

Great look, rugged outsole, decent exterior durability, but the interior lining gives out too easily.I purchased these in October 2018 (to replace another pair of Skechers that had the interior lining ripping apart) and now a year later have to replace them because the interior lining again cannot stand to moderate use. The heel area is worn through and the inner lining underneath is breaking apart.These were worn inside an office during winter time and also while commuting during the other seasons, which would be considered light use for a shoe that uses the word "work" in its name.

To start and give some context, I do mostly rennovations and installations for Lowe’s, some private work but never anything too heavy duty, I still use 12v tools usually. I take the shoes on and off a lot going into customers homes out of respect hence shopping for slip on shoes, now my thoughts.The shoes start off as extremely comfortable, slightly loose fitting and seemingly durable, but here I am only 4 months later, the built in memory foam soles have started ripping out from the bottom, slipping them on and off causes friction and eventually I just took parts of the soles out with my feet. the rubber on the bottoms is decent but I’ve had a nail come up through the boot twice, the heel end of the shoe got completely obliterated despite efforts to be nice to it, it uses a cheap brittle plastic that ends up breaking and cutting its way out until you find you’re stepping on plastic chips. unfortunately I can’t recommend these shoes to anyone who does work or needs a composite or steel toe, just spend a bit more on real boots, these end up feeling as flimsy as slippers in no time.

My shoe size is 44EU. So I order 44 sizes. But when I received the shoes, they were tight. So I thought they might need some break-in time. After a month, they got a little loose but not enough to make me comfortable. These shoes are not breathable, it feels like my feet are in a tightly closed box. The good thing is there is enough space at the front so my toes don't hurt.It's almost 7 months now, I use them occasionally for 1 or 2 hours max at a time.In my experience, these are one of the worse shoes I bought. Next time I will go for Skecher Bulkin or synergy.
