Fit our Pur filter
Easy to order and did fit our Pur faucet filter. The filter saves us from buying bottled water at our vacation home where the tap water would not be pleasing without filtering. Saved quite a bit of money ordering on Amazon versus the home improvement store.

Not original Pur. Rubber seals missing. Made it work.
Bought to use with my Pur Plus FM-3000 unit. Paid twice as much hoping these were original as pictured. Not! Comes WITHOUT rubber seals. Outside o-ring from the old filter was needed and reused on the new filter, and the top water inlet rubber seal was needed... The top seal has to be carefully cut/pulled from the old filter and original rubber retaining nibs trimmed off. I did not try to use the square seal around the plastic tang that sticks up on top, as the new filter has no recess to locate it. Without the seals the water would definitely just run right thru. SUPER BAD to send these without rubber seals installed. Also, to expect customers to know that reworking is necessary. My opinion is that they just don't know, or just sell stuff and don't care about return customers. I feel bad for the people who buy stuff and expect it to work. Especially the people who don't have a knack for how stuff works. First thing I noticed after unpacking was no seals on the filter and there were none packaged separately in the package. Irresponsible on the part of the manufacturer/seller!!! Setting people up for dissatisfaction and hassle. In the attached photos, the new one is the whiter one.

Better than bottle water!
Fair price, quick delivery (Prime!)Ou family has been a Pur filter user for over 25 years! You can tell the difference between filtered and non-filtered water. We even fill ice trays with filtered water (why use it if the ice is tap water?) Recommend them to everyone in our family as they move into their own homes....
