What are the felts for?

You apply the felt to the edge of the squeegee prior to working. This is to prevent the squeegee from scratching the paint not protect by the film.

Has anyone used this on stainless steel? I want to put it behind the fridge handle.

This works amazingly well on steel, plastic, carbon fiber. Goes on with almost zero bubbles and looks almost unnoticeable
