Oven Roasted with Sea Salt, 100 Calorie On-The-Go Bags 7 count of 0.6Oz (Pack Of 6)

I often buy the Blue Diamond Natural Grab & Go Bags and enjoy them. But as much as I like them, I sometimes find myself passing them by and reaching for the cheese curls or chips! ha! Sometimes I just WANT a little salty snack (but, I admit I can keep on eating out of a chip bag!) It is hard having teenagers in the house who can eat anything they want! (even if I wish they wouldn't.) So, when I saw these, I thought, "well maybe these will help those salty snack cravings." And they DO! Even my kids grab them sometimes!! YAY!! (They still like Doritos more...what can I say?) They are just little bags of almonds (you get about 19-20 nuts in each bag) with a very light saltiness. The salt is very fine, almost powdery, not big chunks of salt on your fingers or anything. I suppose it has to be like that because (as opposed to chips) the almonds aren't greasy enough for larger salt to really "stick" (and I even tried once with the "natural" bags!) They definitely aren't as salty as most snack things (chips, pretzels, most popcorn, cheese curls, tortilla chips, etc.) BUT!! they are just salty enough that you still get the nice almond flavor AND some crunchy salty satisfaction. I sometimes eat a bag of these and a string cheese for lunch (especially when I am trying to drop a few pounds.) It is interesting how well the two go together! I always have a few little bags of these in my desk at work. I wish they were available as Subscribe & Save...but right now they are not. These salted ones are by FAR my favorite little healthy-ish snack. Of course you can't eat 15 bags a day between meals, but if you need just ~something~...and those chips/popcorn/etc. are beckoning you...this will make you smile! p.s. And I did try to save money once and just bought the big bag...you can probably guess what happened. Yes, I ate more each time than I do with the little bags. One little bag is fine! I just have a tendency to keep on eating when they are in a big bag. They are too easy to just pop in your mouth! ha ha!!And making my own little bags of these is just too much bother. I need help with self-control! :D The little bags do that for me. Now if they could just stop me from buying too many pairs of shoes.... :D

I bought three flavors of the Blue Diamond 100 calorie packs - Wasabi, Cinnamon & Sea Salt. I liked them all but will reorder the Sea Salt or less expensive unflavored packs in the future. The Wasabi had a nice bite of flavor - more of a tang than the sharp wap! I associate with Wasabi. It was a fun flavor to try but not one I crave. The Cinnamon & Brown Sugar had a mellow cinnamony sweetness - but I have to be in a 'sweet' mood to want them. The Sea Salt are very good but not so different than the plain flavor. However, the texture of the almonds in all three versions was perfect for me. I was given a couple of other brands to try - they were so hard I worried for my teeth. (& after just replacing a crown, I'm not eager to incur that expense again anytime soon!). I found the texture to be firm but soft in comparison to raw almonds.

These don’t have the crunch or flavor of Madi K’s sadly. I’d hoped.

Love these! Very tasty and the controlled portions keep me from mindlessly grabbing handfuls of nuts which I, if I am being perfectly honest, would definitely do! In addition, these were less expensive than the same product at grocery store.

Perfect portion and taste and delivered on time. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a nutritious snack that is low in calories and fat.

Overpriced but I love these. Keep them in a drawer in my desk at work. Great snack.

Fresh crunchy almonds, in small packs just right for popping into lunch containers or your purse. Just 100 calories - good for those diet times when you are counting calories.

These almonds came packaged well and as described. They taste like salted almonds; but are noticeably dry. They are "roasted" but seem like they are "dehydrated" almonds. All in all, they do the job as a mid-morning or afternoon snack. The Blue Diamond Dark Chocolate Oven Roasted are 10x better than these.
