Easy to install, magnet is strong enough( I recommend peeling the sticker off the magnet to reduce slippage). My wife liked it so much she wanted one for her F25.(different configuration), found here on Amazon. Definitely recommend.

Works great. Only falls off if you hit a a deep hole or big bump but hold great and stuff enough where it does not move at all during driving. Installation is a little difficult because of the angles but take your time as the screws are tiny and don't over tighten as other people are saying that they stripped the screws. I have had zero issues with it and I LOVE IT!!!

Yeah, I admit I put off adding a phone holder to my 2007 335i because I didn't want some cheap thing cluttering up my nice interior. I saw this on YouTube and made the purchase. I love it. I use it every time I get in the car. Super convenient and looks like a BMW accessory.It's made out of extruded aluminum and other high quality metal parts. I don't think there is any plastic!

fitment is good, set screws could be redesigned. make sure to use a little loctite on the set screws and your golden. I have a pixel 3a and can spin the phone hard without it falling off. It has not fallen off yet.... but i have not put it to the full test. I would recommend it for any e90 owner. Also You slide your phone off instead of yanking it off as the magnet is quite strong.things to be aware: 1) your dash has dash pins made of aluminum try not to loose those.2) taking your module out can take a lot of force to ensure your putting the force in the right place follow the wires in the back. 3) the rubber piece included goes on your phone and the metal circle goes on top that. the metal circle should have a plastic piece adhered to it. keep that on it should match the plastic circle on the mount.

Unit seems built well, comes with no instructions. BMW's are easy enough to pull apart with minimal tools. My biggest complaint is the magnet is not as strong as I had hoped. There is a large metal ball, with a magnet stuck to it with another magnet to hold your phone. My phone starts out fine, but with potholes and bumps ends up facing down. Now, I do have the little metal plate at the TOP of the back of my phone instead of the middle. This could make a bit of difference, but another magnet mount in my Jeep holds the phone perfect when off-road, so I doubt it... weak magnet in my mind.

Easy install, works fine. Phone slips when driving car hard and rattles the trim piece it rests on when hitting bumps.

I was simple to install (I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic), I suggest tightening equal amount from the left set screw to the right set until securely in place. I looks like a OEM part once installed. Holds the iPhone in place very well.
