E-03442 Impact Premier Mag Boost

Neat little gadget that I didn't realise I needed! Definitely makes some magnet improvement over standard magnetised bits. Its small size does not get in the way at all and the durability has so far been good with very little wear after a fair bit of use.Very good value for money, I'll be buying more for my other Makita drivers

Never had once of these before and I find it very useful when using steel screws, even if a little expensive.

Good little quality of life upgrade.Holds screws so you don't need to worry constantly about dropping them when working in tight spaces. It's cheap and will make life easier for you.

Perfect little gadget, strong magnet. Fits perfect and compatible for various selections of tools.

Does what it says it does, the magnet is strong enough for bigger screws, I tried up to 5mm x 100mm screws and it seems to hold well. The only downside is that it covers most of a 50mm impact bit, so if you need to see where the tip of the bit is, then you'll either need to try longer bits, or a different solution.Update: Used this a few times now, but found that on a 50mm bit, it covers most of it, so if you are screwing into a recess, the Mag Boost gets in the way. Longer bits would probably work better, but they are more expensive, and not worth the faff. I have gone back to a Wera Impaktor bit holder and standard size impaktor bits.

Works great. I was considering the regular Makita magnet adapter but after seeing it's poor durability I decided to spend the extra money for this. So far it's been money well spent. I do think it's still a bit overpriced but in comparison to everything else that's out there – this is definitely it! I've tried other magnetizer and magnet adapters and this has by far been the strongest, simplest, and most durable (so far). Easy enough to install/remove. Has a nice fit on my bits and Klein Hex extension (as an aside if you pair this with Klein's extensions with the 1/4 socket for standard 1/4 bits it actually magnetizes the bits through the extension – just enough to keep the screw attached for easier installing/removing.) Awsome way to magnetize Klein 1/4 hex adapter and a couple of their other sockets!
