We use this all summer in our Golden’s water bowl. No more yellow in our lawn.

I see a lot of negative comments about these rocks but we love them. I can tell right away when the rocks need to be replaced because the brown spots in the yard start appearing again. I think they are super easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to. Maybe some dogs are different but this works for me and my Great Dane.

The rocks initially produced no results. But then I placed them into a 3 gallon ceramic water dispenser. The results were remarkable, I guess the difference is that all water dishes need to be rinsed out and cleaned and the chemical produced by the rocks rinsed away. With them always soaking in the water dispenser they work like magic. My newly sprouted grass seedlings are not even harmed. I also break the rocks into smaller pieces at the end of the month with a hammer in an old towel and get a second month out of them. I don't have to worry about the dogs choking on smaller rocks as the water dispenser will not let them pass through.

I didn’t really believe it would work but I was desperate! We have a four year old black lab and she’s burnt up our lovely backyard.Last summer I tried the chewable tablets but my dog has a notoriously touchy stomach and the pills gave her diarrhea. So we scratched the pills.Months later I saw these rocks on Amazon.So I thought I’d give these things a shot. Been using them for almost 3 months… no change. I’ve got a rock in her water bowl… I fill her water bowl from my reserve jug with rock “treated” water (as some reviewers have sworn by).I can honestly say these rocks are ineffective and I fell for it. Save yourself the money and time. Pass on the dog rock scam.

These have worked really well to stop the yellow spots in the yard. I have two female German Shephards and they were killing my grass with their urine. I have a two step process for using them. I put stones in one pitcher to soak, then transfer to another pitcher for use. And repeat about 2 times per day. I always have a pitcher soaking and another ready to pour. I've been purchasing them for about 2 years.

This has gotten too pricy. I do not purchase any more. And it's a hassel keeping separate water in the fridge. The taking it on vaca. NOT and more!Price gouge!!!!

These are great! I have three dogs and recently moved into place which the owners were very concerned about their lawn. I kind of took a leap of faith and told them not to worry about it, I would use the rocks to prevent the yellow spots. Thankfully they didn’t let me down! They MUST be used right. I personally bought two 2qt pitchers and put a pack of rocks in each pitcher, if you read the package the rocks are good for 2qts of water, which is perfect. I rotate the pitchers, one pitcher a day, making sure that they’ve had at least over night to soak. The rocks aren’t magic, they need about 12 hrs to filter the water. Just make sure to read the directions thoroughly and they should work! Three dogs, no yellow spots. Awesome.

I’ve been using them for about six months now. I am happy to say we have no burn marks in our grass anymore. I was very skeptical to start with, but very happy to report that they work and will continue to use.
