These jeans are great quality. I am not a jean lover, and in fact this is the only pair I own right now. But, they were cute, the reviews are great, and I needed a pair. I am 5'4", 195 lbs, and I bought a size 14. They fit perfect, though the length was a bit long and the waist is not really fitted (which is good as my waist is not small), not as shown on the model, who is likely taller than me and clearly much slimmer. They look as good as expected for my size and are comfortable. I haven't worn them for an extended period yet, but I feel they will stretch out a bit. I would buy again, if I need another pair.

These are my absolute favorite jeans. They fit perfectly. I own them in multiple colors now. Nice pair to get away from skinny jeans. The stretchy waistband is amazing and so comfortable. Doesn’t dig in like other jeans. Democracy jeans tend to run cheaper on Amazon than other places (some fits and washes) Highly recommend!

The jeans are cute & fit good. Typical girlfriend jean fit. The waist, as others mentioned, is a little snug, but not so much as to go up a size. The jeans came delivered to my post office box in a flimsy clear package with a large rip in it. The jeans were clearly visible as was the size, brand, etc. I’m surprised they weren’t stolen. Makes me leery about ordering clothing from Amazon.

Comfortable jeans with a good stretch without being to stretchy

I had these jeans in my cart for months waiting to see if the price would go down. As soon as they did, I bought them and it was worth the wait! They fit a bit tight, but I feel like they’ll start to stretch out to my curves. They’re very flattering and extremely comfortable! I ordered a size 8, I’m 5’7” and 150lbs with a long torso and they fit like they were made for me!

I definitely recommend you try these jeans. I'm 5'2 and 160 lbs. Amazon recommended a size 16. I usually wear a 14. I ordered a 12 and 14 optimistically. They were too big. They didn't lift the butt or manage the tummy bulge. Returned for a size 10. This size is magic. To obtain the perfect butt lift and keep tummy tight I wear a belt as they tend to slip down on my waist a little which ruins the desired effect. These jeans are comfortable for all day wear. The first two pairs I ordered came cuffed and I liked the length. The third pant I received didn't come cuffed and I haven't been able to cuff them as nicely as the manufacturer did. Probably I'm just bad at cuffing... I won't recommend you order three sizes down from the Amazon recommendation though because you may like to have your jeans to fit differently than I do. Do not expect a "Spanx" type effect. These jeans offer moderate control.

This is my second pair of Democracy Jeans and I have loved them both. This pair however being super cute and comfy really disappointed me. They fit well, even a little loose. I just bought them in 2/23 and they are already starting to tear on the inside of one of the legs. This should not happen to jeans that fit a little big.

These fit true to size so order your normal size, not what is recommended. Amazon recommended that I buy 3 sizes smaller than what I normally wear; I ignored it and bought my usual size and they fit great. Also, inseam is NOT 27". I rolled the cuffs and they still hit at my ankles (I'm 5'7"). More like a 30" inseam. Very comfortable jeans though!

Love this brand. I just wish the legs were slightly more tapered. The photo shows a slimmer leg but they are wider than expected.

La taille avec bande élastique est géniale. J'ai acheté la taille 2 ; c'est un peu grand, mais ça donne vraiment l'effet girlfriend.

These are my go-to jeans. Just be aware that you’ll probably need to size down…I’m generally a 6 to 8, and ended up fitting a 2 in these.
