We bought these after trying out a few different types of pourers. We cleaned out a few wine bottles to use as oil and vinegar containers, and needed something to stick in the top and help direct and control the flow of the liquids. These worked PERFECTLY. We did NOT like the other ones we have tried. Benefits of these:1) AUTO-CLOSING - These weighted pourers have a little cap that has a weight attached so that when you put down the bottle, it closes over the hole. This might not be super important for oils, but for vinegar, it really is. Fruit flies LOVE vinegar, and you need some way to keep them out. These work for that purpose.2) STAINLESS STEEL - The pourers will not rust and they will not leach any strange chemicals into your liquids every time you pour (like plastic pourers do).3) TIGHT FITTING - They fit snugly in the top of a wine bottle for a good fit. No leakage noted.Might be a bit more expensive than other pour spouts, but we feel the expense was totally worth it.

Fits most bottles I like putting it in my dish liquid get the perfect amount of liquid, they work great with both olive oil and vinegar, easy to use and clean

These fit nicely in EVOO specialty oil and balsamic vinegar bottles, but sometimes they leak. Still, they are WAY better quality all around than the cork style spouts that I can buy at that specialty store - their corks always got stuck in the bottle and broke, making the spout useless. I got sick of buying a new spout from them every time I buy a new bottle of EVOO oil or vinegar. These will be fine - I just can't figure out why I get leaks once in a while. The mechanism that covers the tip is nice and sturdy - works very well - WAY better than those expensive spouts at the specialty oil store!

I started using these a few months ago on bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I'd say the bottles are much like a standard wine bottle, but I don't know the dimensions. In any case, these fit perfectly, don't leak and pour nicely. The one I have on the balsamic vinegar gets a bit gummed up, but that's the nature of the vinegar, not a fault with the product. I will definitely buy more of these and I do recommend them!

This product is awesome... the best part, is after you've poured product from your bottle through these dispensers, the 'lid' or 'cap' automatically closes and you don't have to get oils all over your hands ... nothing seems to drip down the bottle after, it's ideal. They're easy to wash, I love that there's no cork material (which tends to break over time with soap, water and wear)... so far very pleased, highly recommend, great value!!

Why do oil dispensers come with an open top? That will make the oil go bad very fast. These are a must! Oil comes out smooth and consistent and super easy to clean

The are perfect for pouring olive oil, either on the table (not too fast) or at the stove (not too slow). I use one with a refillable green glass bottle or a ceramic olive oil jug on the table to protect from light damage, another on a larger green glass bottle of olive oil that I keep on the rotating tray next to my stove for cooking, and yet another on a bottle of reduced balsamic vinegar also on the rotating tray . They close immediately to protect precious liquids and oils from air damage and dust. I looked for and considered these a long time before purchase because I had a lot of spigots, spouts, etc. in my drawers that leaked or left themselves open after pouring and I didn't want to add to my stash of imperfect implements. These are perfect. My only concern is that I wish the air vent tube had been also made of stainless steel rather than polypropalyne and the the stopper had been food-grade silicon rather than EVA, but at least they're BPA-free so still 5-star.

I bought based on Amazon.com reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. Elegant and easy to use, the weighted lid on the pourer spout is a game changer - I love being able to pour and then have the lid shut without needing to touch it and get oil on my hands. No dripping or spilling and it drizzles out just the right amount of oil for use when cooking. It’s become a natural extension of my cooking flow, and since I chose a fancy bottle, it also looks good on the counter!

bought to use on balsamic vinegar bottles. worked well initially, but vinegar thick enough that it would collect on and around lid and thus stick. still like them, just have to clean them regularly.

I have tried other steel pourers and the weight works flawlessly. This one does not tend to work as smoothly. But, it works. for $3 a piece, you can get better speed pourers.
