Changed my career, changed my life.
I met Jeff Weigh at a management development day, he challenged me about ‘snoozing’ the alarm in the morning! (Still guilty!)Fast forward to last year where I found myself a bit lost in my career, I’d just passed my CiLex Paralegal qualification and wasn’t excited… Scrolling through LinkedIn I find Jeff, he’s wrote a book ‘Stuck, Now What’ I bought it, first page was on snoozing, coincidence?!I worked my way through the book and with his wise words, a PDP and a bit of self belief I decided to change my career.I urge anyone feeling stuck, lost, doomed by the thought of going to work to read this. Print off the workbook and give it a try, it might just change your life!Looking forward to future books and the YouTube channel!

This is the book I didn't think I needed
This is the book I didn't think I needed but I'm so glad I've read it.I've read many business books over the years and where this book differs is that it's simple to follow and then put into action...immediately.It asks questions that make you stop and think but then offers simple solutions.I used to do all the easy tasks off a list which constantly left the harder ones on it, that I then kept putting off.Now I tackle the harder things first, I feel more accomplished and productive. The more I read, the more I wanted to learn, this book really can help you get unstuck, I can highly recommend it.

How to make the changes rather than just consider them...
This book does a lot of things very well and goes above and beyond the usual ‘what if’s that most books in this genre encourage you to consider.I’m no stranger to work/life coach books and closing the last page usually results in the same thing... I’ll have a few new ideas to consider, I’ll implement some of those ideas into my role/life for a few days or weeks but, ultimately , those ideas will get buried under the same old responsibilities and routines because that’s all they were... ideas. This book is different...The author doesn’t allow you to just ‘consider’ what’s being presented, the accompanying workbook and tasks mean that, by the end of it, you are left with a plan. A lot of the questions and tasks in the book that led to my more profound revelations are now written down and prominent in my work space as well as included in my appraisal templates for my staff; they have changed the way that I define work, success and ultimately life. The author shares experiences from his youth, his career and his personal life that allow you to engage on a deeper level and neutralises that patronising tone that so many life/work coaching books can have.In summary, this is an accessible, well-written and proactive guide to considering where you are in life but, most importantly, one that provides a blue print to making the changes that you may have thought were hard to make.

Figure out who you are and where you want to be!
This book really helped me to understand where I am in my career at the moment and where I see myself in the future. Jeff is really great at helping the reader to discover what is actually really important to them in their career as opposed to what they think makes them happy. This is all done by looking at your core values in a way that is unique and revealing. Jeff is also great at helping you re-wire your brain and re-training you to approach your work in a more efficient way which helps you think more about the long term goal in life rather that just thinking about today. I'd recommend this book all day long for career minded people looking for a fresh perspective.

Genuine Way to Find a Way Out
Had a chance to read and interact with the author, and I feel like this book hits the mark when it comes to a not-so-far-fetched approach to get out of your professional rut. Most books fantasize a long term dream, but this book legitimizes a short-term way out. Thanks for the read!
