Grundens Men’s Deviation 6” Ankle Boot | Durable, Waterproof

I work marine construction, so much of the time I'm walking on wet/muddy terrain. 100% waterproof while walking in ankle deep muddy water. Traction is great, the tread doesn't get loaded up with sand and mud. The sole is thick enough to provide support but not so thick you can't feel what you're walking on, important while walking open framework. They will not protect your feet from any falling objects, so a knife, or even a 30' piling coming down on your foot will hurt some. Comes in super straight orange and black, which is what I ordered. A bit tight on the right foot which is typical for me. There are no laces to tighten them up so half sizes order size down. I did triple up my socks on the right foot and wear them around the house for a few hours to loosen the fit a bit. Wish I would have bought these a long time ago. Excellent!

I ordered these boots because of user quality comments and that the Grunden website says "MADE IN USA". Well when I got the boots the tags says MADE IN CHINA! I am giving them a five star rating because that is where everyone looks to see how good products are. My real rating is 0.001! And I let the Grundens corporate office know my feelings! I am looking for rain suits, etc but not from Grundens!

I was so excited to find a waterproof boot with such awesome support! I got them July 8th and last week (today is August 15) I am already seeing the seam breaking. How sad! But they are comfortable and since wearing them I haven’t had any back pain (hurt my back and earlier pairs of dock boots were keeping me in pain). Wish they would last longer since they are double the price of the other boots I was wearing. But I’m sure I’ll get a season (four months) out of them. Buy them with the knowledge they will only last so long, but what support you will have until then.

Decided to throw em’ on immediately upon delivery, in the rain, while rehabbing’ my deck. Very comfy, cushy, pliable and grippy. They don’t flop around. Wear as if they’re laced up. In short, I love em. Time will tell on quality. However, they appear and feel well built. So, will report back if any issues come up.

I use these mostly for walking my dog in the rain and mud. I wanted something that was easy slip on in the morning and these fit the bill. Even though they are slip-ons, they fit very snug on your feet.Well constructed and easy to clean. Just hose off the mud, dirt or grass clippings that stick to them.Great traction on wet surfaces.

I spend 6 to 7 days a week on the ocean as a captain and fishing guide. I've been looking for a durable and comfortable boot for several years since my previous boots maker moved production overseas and fit and quality went away, I've used other Grundens products with complete satisfaction but had not tried their footwear. These boots fit well, are very comfortable and the traction on deck is good. They appear to be very durable and I expect to get long life from them.

I tried several other brands and ended up sending them back. This boot I was actually satisfied with. If you are looking for a ankle boot for when conditions are nasty outside, this is way to go. Not to mention it looks really nice also.

These boots are built for the apocalypse-and comfortable for all day on a boat. They’re amazing, and have grip like Spider-Man.
