Malamute Rugged AA Battery Organizer - Hard Shell Storage Case Holds 8 AAs, Traction Feet, Made in the USA (Grey)

I'm buying a couple more of these. I use them to store AA NiMH batteries in my ham radio go bag.They are what they are, a nice case for holding 8 AA batteries that can be tossed in a go bag without worry the lit pops off or the plastic gets cracked. The batteries sit in place firmly in a foam cradle and the lid is locked in place by two snaps that shouldn't pop loose unintentionally. The feet at the bottom is a nice touch. They don't really add to the height but still keeps the case from sliding around on a desk. The hinge is questionable. It's the same material as the case and I suspect after many cycles of opening and closing it will eventually just let go. Hopefully many cycles.Thoughtfully built. I appreciate that.

I have 5 of these cases. 3 of which I have had for quite a while. They all have worked well and are still functioning. The batteries fit snugly and the closure is without problems. The plastic is strudy enough that if I need to take some of the batteries with my I just put the case into a backpack or device case. I also add a notecard with the date the batteries were last charged/topped off. The case seems to fite both the recharagle and the alkaline batteries well. The only negative is that they seem to be a bit on the pricey side. But then quality costs. Recommend.

For what we do at work we needed batteries every time we turned around for Field Cams, flashlights, black lights, and other equipment. THe recharge Idea turned out great after I learned more about what batteries to buy. Then the problem was keeping the dead batteries separate from charged. I made the search on Amazon and found these cases faster than going to the store and asking someone who doesn't know squat. Amazon has become very essential in helping me run my business and save me gas expense. This system is easier on our Eco System when one truck goes out and makes multiple deliveries ! This item review is OUTSTANDING by the way! Very heavy duty cases. ANd I ordered more and found they have AAA cases as well and ordered them as well. Thanks for a great idea.

I have gotten tired of finding corroded batteries in electronics that are rarely used like my expensive automotive code scanner. I decided I didn't want the same to happen to my DSLR camera flash. This case holds 4 batteries for the flash and 4 spares. The batteries fit snugly in the case and take up little space in my camera bag. It is well constructed and should last many years. I could have purchased a cheaper plastic case but this one is worth the few extra dollars.

At 61, I’ve purchased and was subsequently disappointed numerous times with the quality of various battery storage units over the years. The Malamute storage/organizational units were both stylish and maintained effective storage properties until subsequent use. Although battery manufacturers have attempted to provide acceptable packaging that served as product marketing materials and safe storage, opening battery storage drawers often revealed packaging that appeared more like organized garbage. I’ve purchased more of the organizers to accommodate my battery needs.

Good quality overall but the hinges and clasps are just thin pieces of plastic, imagine these will wear and break over time. I have had no issues before and mine are for longer term storage vs regular daily use so no concern here but if you plan to use this daily for work etc. I would be cautious of this potential. A stronger latch system would no doubt make this a five star item as the rest is very well built.

This thing is a tad heavy gor a bettery holder. But it works well.

Better than I expected.... Price is a bit higher than those cheap plastic cases, but this is a well thought out and engineered product.... Worth every penny....Holds batteries securely without rattling around, cushioned bottom inside case... Rubber on bottom keeps it secure on your work service (from sliding).... Secure fit and quality materials.....
