Turn themselves off during flight
Inexpensive, really good brightness and you get four of them with a complete set of batteries - enough to change all the lights once. Mine arrived with 2 of the four lights with dead batteries, so I used most of the extra batteries right away. I have had no problem with the stickiness of the adhesive - despite flying in 25 mph winds, neither of my two lights have fallen off.I can easily see these at night for 1/2 mile. probably not much further. But these should only be used as navigation lights, not for anti-collision lighting required by FAA.No, you cannot close the rotor arms all the way with these installed. But I suggest you only use TWO of them as I've done - only on the rear rotors arms. On the rear, you can still close the arms > 90% with these still installed, and as I've shown this is enough closure for you to use your protective strap, and enough closure so that I can still easily fit the drone in my case with the lights on.Only real problem: these lights turn themselves off during flight. Not all the time. Doesn't seem to be just from rough flight, I can't figure it out. But somehow while in the air most of the time the drone returns with one or both lights turned OFF. The caps have never fallen off, and the adhesive has never fallen off. If it weren't for this problem, I'd give 5/5 stars. But I can't find another set of lights this small and light for this kind of price. If I find another set that is more reliable I'll try them.DJI Mini 2 SEAnbee RC Drone night flight lightsVifly Drone strobe light, anti-collision.Startrc mini2 SE landing gear foldable extended kit.HeiyRC propeller holder strap.Tomat Mini 2 SE case.

Very Small and Versitile LED
It is very small with a 12 mm diameter at the base. I plan on using this on lower powered, less expensive drones with insufficient light. The only concern is that the cap is easily removed by pushing and turning, but these lights are not expensive if damage or lost. Its also not weather tight. Some side benefits not advertized -1) Each light comes with two batteries. There is also a full set of replacement batteries for each light - bonus.2) The light board can be removed and rewired to the batteries (terminal housing for batteries may be required). The light board is only 10 mm x 2 mm and could be housed separately in many applications.

Not very bright and too easy to turn on
These are cute little lights. They 3 settings fast flash, slow flash and constant on. The problems are, they turn on by pushing down on the cover, which is way to easy to do by accident. They come with extra batteries but if I have to change them more than once, I'll need to purchase more. ie, they are not rechargeable. the second problem that I have is the brightness. These lights are not very bright at all. I doubt they could be seen even a mile away. I would not recommend purchasing these lights unless you are going to fly very close.

Decent Performance, But Some Issues
Bought these so it would be easier to track a DJI Mini 2, especially in lower light situations. First, I found these did help, and were fairly visible, even from hundreds of feet away. I installed them on the bottom of each rotor motor, and followed the advice to put red in front and green in back. One of the things that makes these easier to see is that by being below the motors, they give you four points of light, which also helps show you the front and back. But this also contributes to issues.Issues:1. These have a small cover which locks when turned one way and unlocks when turned the other way. These turned out not to be too secure as on cover fell off on its second flight. The cover pushes on an internal switch, so it still works, but now the guts are open.2. These use very small "coin" type batteries and only last for a couple of hours (according to the manufacturer) when on slow flash, and about half that time when full-time on is chosen. Although a number of extra batteries are provided, extending the life of the batteries makes it more convenient. Maybe quick double flash then a pause of a second or two would help save batteries and with four of them, you'd still have no trouble spotting them.3. I think a better strategy is rechargeable batteries, so you don't have the expense and hassle of replacing batteries. But, that means you will only have one central light (and it will be heavier -- one I noticed was about 6 grams and all four of these probably only way 2 or 3 grams.4. The DJI Mini 2, as an example, has plenty of power to add a 6 gram light and fly fine, but that will take it over the 249g limit for flying without registering with the FAA, so keep that in mind. Also, the more weight you add, the more you reduce flight time. All in all, they work as advertised, but due to reliability issue and the hassle of having to replace batteries, it seems a light single light would be the better choice for most drones. They do look cool when flying, though...

you have to remove these on from a mini2 before you can fold the legs up for storage.
You have to remove these on from a mini2 before you can fold the legs up for storage. They worked great. Would have been fantastic. But I want to be able to store my mini2 in it's case not leave it out full time.

Good lights, but...
These lights are just a little bigger than the batteries used to power them. They do put out good light, but it’s doubtful it meets the FAA requirements for night lights on a drone. They do however allow the drone to be seen from below at 300-400 feet. The lights are NOT rechargeable and fresh batteries need to be replaced often. They do what the description says they do, they are easy to operate and they look cool on the drone.
