What transducer do i need to buy to use the chirp ? it keeps saying that i need the compatible transducer.

In the description it says this unit isn’t a chart plotting model but in the highlights it claims quick contours and mapping. Which one is it?

The description is correct. Garmin Quickdraw Counters are NOT maps. Strikers units are NOT mapping units. As stated they do support Garmin Quickdraw Counters, which is essentially software that draws counters based off of where you have been.

Can your hook up transducer to TWO them, or do we need a transducer for other one ?

The transducer cable only has a single connector. You would need a transducer per unit. It would not be advisable to use two of the same units on a boat as they would interfere with each other since they both operate on the same signal frequency. I always use two different brands on my boat to prevent that problem. My particular installation has a Lowrance on the console and a Garmin on the bow.
