FiberCoreEco Bedding with Odor Control, 3 lb, Brown

I am unfortunately disappointed with this product. I bought this version because they said it had a safe additive for reducing smell. It didn't work for my rats. I have 4 cages with rats ranging from 2-4 in each cage and it would start smelling after day 2, so if I cleaned the cages in Monday, it would smell by Wednesday. I was bummed because I really wanted a natural solution for my rats bedding and they loved burrowing in it but I couldn't handle the smell and it was very expensive.I switched back to recycled paper bedding and it's a relief to have 6-7 days of no smell!

I always suggest this bedding for everyone who owns rats mice hamsters anything. It keeps the smell down it's cheap and it fluffs up alot. I have also never had an animal have an allergic reaction to it. My one poor mouse was allergic to everything.

I had a hedgehog that passed away a couple months ago. With him I used a different paper bedding. It was okay for him.I just got a new baby prairie dog. I was afraid because the other stuff had lint like paper and was warned about the respiratory issues Prairie dogs have with lint. I saw this Eco bedding and thought I would give it a try. This stuff is GREAT!! I can build it up very high and the Lily loves it. She makes tunnels and it also protects her when she decides to jump off the top tier.

My gerbils love this bedding, my big box store stopped carrying it which worked out well as Amazon is cheaper. You don't need to use much as the little ones fluff it up within a week. It absorbs oder really well and they enjoy making their tunnels. And I like that it's made from recycled paper so it's good for the environment. I've had critters for over ten years now, been using this for over three years now, it's the best and longest lasting.

This stuff gets everywhere but it's easy to clean with a broom and lasts a long time. Used as bedding for my rat babies.

I use this for bedding for my guinea pig. It is soft on her feed and doesn't look like spit wads, like a lot of paper littler does. Keeps down the odors, too. I will always buy this product.

We did not feel like this bedding controlled the smell as well as our other bedding.

I like this product, odor control works great.
