Decent suture kit
I like this product, but the only thing that you could’ve come with are these scissors and tweezers as I would feel that that would be a complete set only thing I have to say about this is on the larger laceration there could be an extra bit of skin at the bottom so it wouldn’t pull on the other others, but other than that, this is quite good texture wise and good for student nurses like me

Tears easily but good for the price.
This was the cheapest suture pad I could find, and it did the job I wanted it to.I am not a doctor, or medical student of any kind, but I had always wondered how sutures are done, and now I know! This pad came with three each of 3-0 and 4-0 silk sutures and three no.10 scalpel blades (no blade holder). I did need to buy a needle driver to go with it. I think this kit would be better without the scalpel blades (not needed and potentially dangerous) but with a needle driver.I watched a youtube video to learn how to do interrupted sutures and mattress sutures, and found it quite easy to put into practice on the pad.I did find that the pad tore quite easily on a couple of stitches, but if you take your time and be a little bit careful of the angle you are pulling the thread at, it works fine. The only real gripe I have, is that as the 'incisions' are cut out of the pad, when you close some of them, the mat curls up slightly and stretches the other incisions (may be visible on the photo). For the price of this pad, I would definitely recommend it to complete novices such as myself. If you need to learn/practice suturing as part of a medical course, there are probably much better ones out there.
