Friends to lovers
Trusting Taylor is the second in the Silverstone series by the ever-awesome Susan Stoker.Susan Stoker writes some of the most interesting and powerful woman in her stories and this one, hehe, this one is a new fav.Taylor is cautious of people, she has prosopagnosia, otherwise known as face blindness, and this makes her few of the world different than the ânormalâ people. Taylor is unable to recall or recognize the faces of anyone, her memory is good, but with her illness, it makes her everyday life interesting to say the least. When she meets Kellan âEagleâ Trowbridge at the after course of a car accident she witnesses, she is a bit surprised at how interested he is in her. Eagle is her counterpart, he can remember every person he has ever met, or seen. Taylor finds this pretty funny when they speak about it.Kellan and Taylor start their ârelationshipâ off as close friends, and I loved this. You can tell that is what Taylor needs when they first get together, and then when it moves on to the next level my respect for him only rises. When he tells her about Silverstone and what they do, his nervousness and panic was so real. As a reader you can tell how much Taylor means to him and he wanted her to know about what he does before they became more. While they start off their friendship and then move into dating, neither notice the creep thatâs worming his way into Taylorâs life. Just ew on that lol When things take a turn, and Taylor's life is at stakeâŚEagle does what he does best. He protects whatâs his.As always, Susanâs books and a great read that I always find myself falling into!

Unique couple
Very interesting storyline and couple. Taylor having prosopagnosia and not recognizing anyone but eagle having his special talent, remembering every name and face. They were the perfect opposite. Iâd never heard of the condition before, very well written and thoughtful in regards to what it would be like living with it. Audiobook was good too. This is a great series

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
Loved this book. It ranks up there as one of my top favorites by Susan Stoker. Eagle and Taylor are the perfect âopposites attractâ example as he remembers every person heâs ever met and she canât recognize a single face sheâs ever seen. She suffers from a condition commonly called face blindness and we get to see first hand how she copes. But not being able to recognize a face causes problems when someone begins to stalk her. Watching her and Eagle fall in love was amazing. What started as the perfect friends became the strongest love story. Highly recommend. On my way to start Smoke and Mollyâs book now.

Trusting Taylor
Trusting Taylor is the second instalment in Susan Stokerâs Silverstone series. In this book, readers follow the romantic and suspenseful journey of Taylor Cardin and Kellan âEagleâ Trowbridge. She is a beautiful, smart, and witty proofreader. She suffers from a prosopagnosia, face blindness. She witnesses an incident in the local grocery store parking lot wherein two men came to blows over a parking stall. The result one man pulled a knife on the other. Witnesses gave statements and during that process Taylor garnered the interest of Brett Williams, a serial killer. Eagle is on his way to the grocery store and encounters the aftermath of the altercation. He is instantly attracted to Taylor. Eagle is part-owner of Silverstone Towing and a member of the Silverstone rescue team. He befriends her. Soon, it is apparent that someone is stalking Taylor. Can Eagle keep her safe? Will their relationship progress from friendship to something more? You must read this book to find out.Yet again, I found myself enjoying Ms. Stokerâs writing style. I love they way she weaves a bit of adventure, suspense, caring, and healing into this romance. In doing so, she captures and keeps her readersâ attention. I appreciate her use of descriptive language to create vivid scenes that are so realistic allowing readers to feel like first-hand witnesses. Ms. Stoker does a great job with her use of a dual POV, that allows readers understand each protagonistâs viewpoint. Ms. Stoker masterfully captures the camaraderie between the Silverton team members showing the bonds of the familial connection of this band of brothers. I also liked the way she explains prosopagnosia and the difficulty living with it. Nicely done, Ms. Stoker.

trusting Taylor
This is book 2 of the series. Although I havenât read book 1 I had no problem figuring out what was going on. It can be read alone. Although I will go back read book 1.I enjoyed this book usually I donât read mystery romances but this one really caught my attention.Eagle â Killianâ is ex delta force who works for Sliverston towing at least thatâs the business name. Really him and his group of friends also run a security force to take out terrorist/ bad guys. He meets Taylor in parking lot of grocery store finds her very interesting because she has a disability that makes her unable to remember faces. He has similar thing where he never forgets anything faces or words. He is attracted to her but needs her trust him and his secret work.Taylor is a proofreader who hardly leaves her home. Mostly because she never remembers people by there faces. This has caused her to not trust. But there is something about Eagle that makes her safe. When as they get to know each other he came up with code word for her to know itâs him. Then start friendship while falling in love. He tells her everything about him. But they two donât realize is a serial killer has her in his sights because he found out she wonât remember his face. This is a great suspenseful romance mystery. Written very well and the writer has you on the edge of your seat not wanting to book down as you want to know who is stalking her and if they get him before he gets her.now there is some dark parts in here but the story has some passionate as well as a HEA.I will be getting the rest of the series .

Quite sweet
I liked the disability rep as I don't see Prosopagnosia being featured. Eagle and the rest of the Silverstone crew were very sweet to Taylor. I liked how she was independent but wished for someone to trust in.

A beautiful love story đđ
Taylor Cardin was quite a extraordinary person ,to look at there was nothing remarkable just your ordinary woman ,but sheâd been born with a condition called Prosopagnosia which is the inability to recognise people faces even her own Sadly for Taylor it was a condition her own mother couldnât cope with as she put her up for adoption when she was a child . Through her adult life itâs caused her to lead a solitary existence as the rare condition is not understood . As we know from the first book Eagle is part of Silverstone Towing company but it also has another role for the four ex servicemen itâs as Silverstone the organisation that goes on dangerous covert operations . His first meeting with Taylor is in a parking lot of the grocery store that theyâre both heading too ,Taylor had witnessed an altercation between two drivers trying to park in the same parking bay . While giving her statement to the police she was trying to explain to them that although she could identify them now , come tomorrow she wouldnât be able to . Intrigued by what was going on Eagle goes over to where the police are and is fascinated at what Taylor is telling the police . As there are other witnesses about who theyâll be able to call on if the need the police told her she could leave and carry on with her day . After introducing himself to Taylor Eagle tells her that heâd like to know more about her condition as he possesses the ability to remember people faces after just one look so the exact opposite to Taylor . The pair get along well and they both feel that there is a connection between them which Eagle is keen to develop it . He arranges to take Taylor to the Silverstone Towing HQ and so that Taylor will know that itâs him when theyâll meet again heâll call her Flower . Worryingly though one of the other witnesses that had given a statement was also fascinated by Taylorâs and her condition but for all the wrong reasons as weâll find out through this story and because of her condition it puts her in grave danger . After years of solitary living will Taylor get a happy ending with Eagle ? â¤ď¸â¤ď¸

Worth every star and more
This is the second in the Silverstone series and while you don't have to read the others or read them in order if you do, I would recommend you start with Trusting Skylar if you've just come across this series and want great books to read.Kellan 'Eagle' Trowbridge is ex-army Delta force and after he and his three best friends and teammates Bull, Smoke and Gramps, leave the army they take over Silverstone garage that was left to Smoke by his uncle, along with more money than the four of them could spend in a lifetime; the men turn the garage into a tow-truck business which is thriving. If course this is only part of what these men do. The part of business going only by the name Silverstone, is where they work with the FBI and Homeland Security tracking down and eliminating the worst of the worst the world has to offer.Eagle's nickname derived from the fact he is a super recogniser. Having photographic memory when it comes to names and faces Eagle can remember anyone he has ever met or seen a picture of. Even if they try to disguise themselves with a different hairstyle or by growing facial hair, Eagle can still 'see' them and know they are, or are not whom they claim to be. Something that in their line of work is crucial to ensure only those who are guilty are punished.Arriving to do grocery shopping for the firm one day - a task he hates with a passion - he sees the police and his curiosity is peaked. It becomes even more peaked when he's informed that one of the witnesses isn't credible because she too has a gift (or curse) when it comes to facial recognition. Suffering with a neurological defect known as "prosopagnosia" or face blindness, the witness, Taylor Cardin, couldn't recognise a person's face of her life depended on it.The couple strike up a conversation and Taylor agrees to help Eagle shop after which they get to talking on the phone for hours a time every day.Things progress between the two with Taylor always in awe with how Eagle is with her and how his best friends, and Bull's girlfriend along with the employees of Silverstone Towing treat her - basically as a normal person with the addition of wearing name tags of Taylor doesn't need to constantly be reintroduced to everyone.Vowing to be the best friend he can for Taylor whose own mother have her up because of her condition, can this friendship blossom into more? When it becomes clear Taylor has a stalker who means her harm and who she can't recognise, can Eagle save her in time when the stalker strikes and with so little to go on, will they ever discover who is behind the threat? For a great read that will hopefully answer your questions, get the book without further ado - or straight after Trusting Skylar if you've not read that first.Stoker, write a beautiful characters that are easy to believe and for one to grow to understand and love. Her descriptions detail places such as the Silverstone business, apartments and even taking us on a beautiful tree-lined journey. There is love, laughter and descriptive sex, so be warned, however the sexual scenes aren't numerous or overly graphic, so even if that isn't your scene, it shouldn't be too off-putting.I highly recommend reading this book and would like to say thank you to Susan Stokes for her great imagination and beautiful way with words. Thank you, now roll on Trusting Molly. đ

Hot romantic suspense
Taylor thinks sheâs an odd ball and doesnât get out and about much. She canât recognize faces and this makes her life so much more difficult. Eagle has the opposite problem, he never forgets a face. When they meet they form a strong friendship and the more time they spend together the more it grows. He gives her freedom, friends and love. She gives him peace, loyalty and love. Taylor becomes a serial killerâs latest fixation and he stalks her for months, luck for her she has Eagle by her side. I really enjoy these connected stories and canât wait to read the next one. Hot with just the right amount of suspense for me.
