This small slow cooker is fantastic for us vegans, it means no pre-soaking - chickpeas go in early morning and are cooked by later afternoon, other beans lentils etc are all put in straight away, no pre soaking. life is so much easier, and the battle with the pressure cooker is gone forever ! Some of the smaller beans and lentils take much less time, you just have to become familiar with the things you like to eat, it does not take long. We dont do kidney beans, this is the only exception, but if you boil them first for 10 mins to destroy the toxins, then we could just cook them slowly from that point. All is possible !

The most useful appliance I own and just the right size for the two of us. Grow out own vegetables and they taste so good cooked slowly. So far it has been reliable and easy to maintain. It is looking a bit worn already though but I do use it a lot.

Great for stews, mixed bean casserole and much more. Just put everything in the pot with a stock cube and go to work. Meal is ready on your return and you can relax and eat. Inner ceramic pot just lifts out to clean and is dishwasher proof as is the lid. Available in various sizes. One of my fav. kitchen items, Highly recommend.

I needed a smaller cookpot and this does the job. Well made and nice firm click on the settings dial. Love the grooves on the bowl to let steam escape as the lid doesn’t rattle and spit like others. Love it

toto vegal waste of money - holds nowhere near 1.5 litres, just over l litre water,with no veg or other ingredients. Would like to return/exchange it but all tolo difficult for a pensioner of advanced years.
