Good sub for brown sugar in entree recipes
This stuff is actually pretty good. I’m usinf it in cooking recipes that call for brown sugar and my family isn’t noticing a difference. In fact they’re telling me the meals are really good and this is the only change I’ve made to the recipes. I used them in cinnamon sugar muffins and my kids like them better this way (not my hubby though). Who knows...maybe they’re all deficient in iron and needed this stuff. But I’m definitely going to buy it again.

Rec'd Melted and Sticky
I went a head and used it for the sake of the time I had needed it. Flavor was okay. Not sure if it would have made a difference if the jaggery was received dry. I may order it again because it is hard finding in local markets. Maybe thru another vendor.

Healthier alternative
It tastes like molasses like most unrefined sugars, but it's a healthier alternative to refined sugar.

Jaggery was moist and lumpy - not powder
I bought this Jaggery powder couple of times. The first time I got it from Amazon, the Jaggery was powder. Loved it so much, bought another bag recently from my prime account. The bag was tightly sealed. Once it was opened, I noticed that it was not only lumpy and wet but also tasted bad. I hoped to return and get another bag. But, Amazon doesn't accept returns for this product. Why did I give 3 stars? The first time I bought it was perfect. There is not only Quality inconsistency, but Amazon does not accept returns of this product. BEWARE... PHOTOS attached

Pineapple upside down POW! Never have I tasted a cake so good.
My Son made a pineapple upside down cake. It was so good. The jaggery sadly didn’t get added to it before baking. Oh but buddy it sure got sprinkled on afterward. The pineapple cake went from good to excellent. I love the flavor it adds. Almost like molasses but better. When comparing this product to other raw sugars I find it to be better. This definitely gave the pineapple cake that POW on the taste buds. Quiet honestly I wish I could share a bite with all of you. You won’t be going wrong with this jaggery.

Jaggery is commonly sold in a lump, which makes it hard to use. We love that this is granulated and organic. This is a quality product and we were disappointed to see that it is no longer available on Amazon. Bring it back, please.
